What Are These Black Vents Under The Seats

Hi guys & gals,

as stated, what are these black vents on the floor under the front seats,

(just behind the crossmember) and what are they connected to ?

(sorry Niraj, nicked some pics from your thread)

I'm kinda thinking they just vent to outside to stop condensation when the car is

unused for a while, plus pressure equalization when you slam the door ?

oops answered my own question with a bit more research.... :huh:

Obviously something to do with the Heater/AC, prob for warm air to rear ?

Certainly is boyo - direct heating/cooling to feet and turn the blower up. You can feel it.

Pressure equalisation is the little flaps in either side of the boot, behind the lining.

I have a gay auto type as well. The same gay auto that was going to offer you a lift to the WIM meet but you can walk now.

To be fair however, your auto in your IS250 is 6 speed so I'd call it Nancy boy rather then a gay auto (hope that makes you feel better! :P)

and before you start.....I drive a 6 speed manual 5 days out of 7
