Hb3 Fog Light Bulbs

Has anyone changed there front fogs to xenons yet I know a few of you guys were waiting to do it but weren't sure about how easy it was, so was just wondering if anyone sussed it yet :D

I think a couple of members have, dont see the point myself, never used my fogs. never needed them.

What LED's do you have I have LED's also but they are crap. They are 1W retrofitted spark LED Hb4 fitment but don't shine very bright (turns the fogs into parker lights)

I believe Yemgi has HID's fitted to his fogs, & the ballasts are mounted in the big area behind the bumper in the corner.

What LED's do you have I have LED's also but they are crap. They are 1W retrofitted spark LED Hb4 fitment but don't shine very bright (turns the fogs into parker lights)

Take it your the man to ask (again) Chris , how easy to change on standard bumper is it just a question of pulling covers back and popping bulbs out of the back of the light or is there some sort of protective casing that needs to come off 1st :D

If yours is the standard grill u can feel 2 screws at the side from the front on the fog

I've got plenty of paint mate Think you'd have to go in from the arch to get to the bulbs on yours, turn the wheels to full lock remove the inner arch cover clips 1 maybe 2 pull the inner arch towards you and see if you can get your hand in to the back of the light unit but not sure without seeing it mate? :D

Ok Andy thats a deal mate the other way of getting to them is from under the car which is a pain as you have to remove the covers? or if you can see the bolts that hold them into the bumper on the side of the lamps you can use a ratchet spanner to take them out? :D

I am sure the IS200 had HB4 Fogs until 2003 when they changed to H3
