Well guys after a long 6 months without a Lexus i'm officailly back in the club! (Well i will be when i pick my new car up in 2 weeks!)

Decided to go for the blue colour instead of the grey after your help :D

Its an 03 Sport with 28,000 on the clock :D

Can't wait to pick her up!!!

you lucky lucky B*****D :D, i should be in the market for my IS200sport at the end of this month, this will be my first (yes i'm a lexus virgin). I'm currently deciding on colour, i've narrowed it down to Blue/Black or Grey. I was heavily leaning toward grey but after seeing this beauty it does look stunning! I'm going to be having a few carbon pieces on the car splitter/spoiler etc so not sure what colour will go best with this?

I have a black car, it gets dirty v. quickly and it takes a lot to get it looking clean/shiney. If you have lots of time (and like washing/waxing/polishing) go for a black IS200- looks good when all polished up.

Otherwise go for a blue or plat ice IS200.

Thanks! i'm feeling pretty luky just now, the car was quite a find :D I found a grey one that looks like the blue one i just bought, its currently at the Peugeot garage in hull if you wanna take a look!

I had the same problem as you, i had ruled black out after owning one already i thought i'd have a change, i was very tempted by the grey one but the blue just looked so amazing! :D

I'm actually being really fussy in the lex i want basically i'm looking for a 99-00 (to avoid the higher tax) sport, with under 100kmiles on it and with a similar kit to the one on yours (is this the TTE kit?). I have a vision of a few carbon fiber exterior touches but not sure how well blue will take to it. I've seen a few modded grey 200's and they do look pretty special but i can see it being one of those colours that you can become bored of pretty quickly.

Not sure what kits on it, thats the way i found it, not very clued up on these things at all, yeah i think the grey would become boring very quickly and you have to work hard at giving it a nice shine, i think the blue does look better, although the grey ones seem to be quite rare, i was looking for 4 months to find a new car and i only saw one grey one with the sports kit. good luck with your search :D

ahh fair enough maybe someone can enlighten us to what kit is on yours? SODS LAW - found a gorgeous blue one in immaculate condition although it does have 117k miles (99 T reg) on it, now how do these lex engines go with mileage?

my mate bout a W reg one about a year ago with arounf 110,000 miles on and he hasn't had one problem with it, if they've been serviced by lexus and well looked after you shouldn't have a problem

I'll second that millage shouldn't be an issue as long as it's been well looked after. ;)

As part owner of this car :D i can't wait to pick it up! trading in my 57 plate Fiesta zetec s, the 2 cars just do not compare :D
