Pure bonkers. Doesn't really matter what car it is at the end of the day. Any car is capable of being driven by a moron. It would have been nice if the train had hit the back of the car. Providing no injury was caused to anyone having his car totalled by a train and then losing out on the insurance for running a risk like that would serve him right.

I saw something similar in Bridlington, lights flashed on approach then just as the barriers were coming down a barryboy racer (Peugeot 106) came speeding on the outside and just made it b4 barriers came down.

that was too close for comfort,pure stupidity all could have prevented if the driver was drivibg a hi-vis jacket
