How Much Fuel Left When Low Fuel Level Control Is Active?

I know that fuel tank capacity is 70l but wanted to know how much fuel is still left when the low fuel level control is active since I can not find it in my manual.

I drive my lexus until the needle is half way down the "E" but if you try it, you do so at your own risk :)

I can get about 45 miles when the low fuel light is on.

Same, after the light comes on I've done 40-50 miles in the past - is always best not to run the tank empty though if you can avoid it

Mine was almost hitting the E last night doing, lets say not soo slow speeds, but when I filled up it filled with 62 litres before clicking.

does that mean another 8 litres, was left?

Yep, pretty much. Check out where the needle is pointing before you turn the ignition on, it goes down to around the middle of the E.

Pretty much yeh. But would be risking it!

Most ive had on the light was 30ish miles (@ 100mph).

My mum was worried the other day that she would make it to the petrol station 4 miles away, because the light had JUST come on!

I've driven a lot of cars and have always found a range of at least 20-30 miles after the warning light comes on.

yeah exactly, last night was doing around 100 on the m-way and the it was near the E, i was laughing which is my repsonse when im worried. lol

There's more than you think when the light's on. I've got 60% of the way to Nottingham from here (about 40 miles) and then back from Notts and stopped in Derby for fuel (maybe 15-20 miles ish?) Needle was almost bent 990 degrees around the empty gauge but it was still going - that was all 60mph continual driving with one stop.
