Oops, I do expect you to invoice me for the T/C system install!!!! it is my addition after all.

Exhaust manifold measured up and sent away for making

Bottom end built

Intercooler dummy fitted

Gearbox modified

Prop measured for modding.

The company modding the prop wouldnt give me a turnaround time so all fingers crossed.

Looking at that pic mate I don't know if you're going to have any room to put the mesh in anyway!

I'd leave it out - more aggressive. But saying that, my bumper is still intact on the Aristo as decided to leave this one a little more unassuming for now :)

lol good decision not that we could have put it back as to fit the intercooler I wanted the bumper had to be cut to make room, this is no piddly 200hp intecooler this unit is designed for 500 bhp so when your reday for the forged engine its a easy swap :winky:

Wow kinda missed this thread, just read through it all. Good luck hope it goes well.

Can I just ask a little question, why not buy an altezza ? There about 150 kg lighter if i remember as well as having everything already in and working then just turbo at a later date if you still want the extra power ? Cant remember whats Zee's was putting out think it was around the 300hp mark.

Dont want to seem negative just a little curious, as you aware im in for the long haul with my project aswell.

I will let James answer this one, he did explain but I can't remember lol!!

Well compression ratios etc will be lower on the 3S-GTE but not sure if they have extra features such as oil squirters for cooling etc, i'll have a look on wiki.

After having a quick look, bore and stroke are the same, compression ratio different 11:1 and 8.5:1 there are no special oil squirters as pistons are cooled the same way via the con rods, intake and exhaust valve diameters the same.
