Deal With The Devil...

When u say the drivetrain would be under more stress...U mean just the gearbox and diff as the propshaft is a new custom made one isnt it?

I read somewhere the structure the diff sits on can bend to an extent with high torque/bhp cars? So yes just the GBox and Diff, I am sure there will be more to change but that is really for another day. 1st up is a new install of the stereo system which I will start in the summer.

Thinking 1 or 2, 12" subs, 6*9's in the parcel shelf and components up front, but which make and how to get them in I have not looked at yet, I need a budget to blow first

Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) yours , but not as much as seeing mine!!

Just got back from seeing the beast in the flesh! :whistling: Looks amazing i must say, the engine looks like it came in the car and the work they have done is amazing. If i had the cash i would be doing the same conversion but i don't.

I didn't take any pictures as i think Yeldarb should be the one to show you all the final outcome and tell everyone just how good it is.

Thanks Jason. The look is exactly what we wanted, a real stealth car.

Pah to stealth!

Though apparently Steves happy with the resonable OEM look on mine. I want it to be known by looking at the car that theres speed there. from the Intercooler poking out the front.

And a lovely set of real silver plated TWIN TURBO badges for the back from the Supra owners club.

hmm doesnt sound good.

Just got myself one of these for my car: http://www.rwmotortec.com/cartracker/

nice little toy. If your car moves and your phone (or optional keyring) isnt attached to it via Bluetooth, it rings you and you can listen to inside the car. and more importantly it gives you text updates on its GPS location and direction.

Not a full tracker system but not a bad alternative

Well today is the tuning day, IF everything is done and ready and James is happy that I can have the car then I will pick it up in the AM. There were still 2 jobs left to do though so this may cause a small delay.

Fair play, definately let me know mate :) i'm only 5mins away in Buckingham so ;)

Here's hoping.

The new sound install has now been finalised, thanks to a combination of information from a car audio installer and our own Redz UK and DJWozza. Thanks guys, lots of info all well worth knowing, you really do learn something new every day.

After hearing what I will be getting in a demo car this morning my mind was made up.

It will be a 100% Rainbow system.

front 6.5" components,

rear 6*9's acting as rear mid range fill (not amplified running from the head unit for the moment)

12" sub bringing up the rear

all powered by a 4 channel amp (2 channels bridged feeding the sub).

Nice simple install, nothing OTT and certainly not breaking the bank (less than £500 including all fitting extras like cables and dynamat).
