Turbo

Hi guys im trying to get a turbo kit for my is200 was wondering if you guys could help me out a bit.

I was wondering if i would have to do any thing to the engine like buy new pistons i know i have to buy a new ecu but my mate says i need to buy a 2j Engine havent a clue what that is by the way haha any way if you's could help would be very gratefull

a 2j is a 2jzgte 3l engine from a supra. youll need a large bank balance for that

and yes you will need new pistons

Not true...................

there are proven kits that work at .5 bar and have for some years now.

key is a competant installer & mapper

is there anything else i will need to change other than the pistons? and do you no where im able to buy a turbo kit?

From what I have heard SPCHORSHAM has a kit of upgrade rods, pistons and exhaust manifold for turbo or supercharged applications. Try them if you done it already, but be ready to pay loads of money

As above. SPC Horsham also were saying that ther were going to run a standard 200 with turbo gradulary increasing the boost to see what the block could take. I'd say it's possible on low boost, but I'd get the full run down from them.

That kit is not correct it is for an Altezza 4 cyl Beam's motor .

it is advertised for a 6 cyl. inline, 1g-fe motor..

"ENGINE: L6 2.0L IG-FE20"

did you call the up or something?
