HID is a pratically a bulb that is powered by a ballast and the advantage of that is that the bulbs are alot brighter and dont cost much

Angel eyes are the rings that go inside the headlight they do look nice but wont help as they are only for the looks. the distadvantage is that you have you open up the head lights to put them in. where as the HID kit only takes 10 mins at most to fit.

i have 8000k HID kit and i would say they are the best mod and makes the car look a lot better mate.

btw welcome to the club.

i aint far from you either just over the bridge.

i was a bit confused what to get aswell, i went for 8000k hid's about 2 weeks ago, and i have to say hands up, it was the best £60 i spent ever, absolutly brilliant and they only take 10 mins to fit as asi said, the hardest part is finding where and how to mount the ballast.

Another question i was wondering about is im thinking of lowering the is200 by a 40mm drop would i have to chnage the shocks aswell or do you think they'll be ok? Iv'e seen a set of springs for £110 on eBay thinking they should do the job. Thanks in advance:)
