Why is it whenever I clean my car a Pigeon who has just eaten a mega vindaloo and drank 3 pints of Guiness flies over, then brings a ****** great rain cloud with him? I have just spent 2 hours cleaning my car and it looks like I have missed a bit.... Several times!!!:(:(

People laugh at me when I clean my car every week

All that I say to them is that I'm protecting an investment just like cleaning your house

I feel silly washing just the wheels every week - I wash and wax the rest of the car once a month. If I leave the alloys a month they're a pig to get clean but doing them every week they're easy. (Plus they're the bit of the car that gets dirtiest so cleaning them makes the car look much better for minimum effort.)

LoL my neighbour could not believe I was polishing the wheels. He thought I was desperate for work.....He said I put more polish on my wheels than he does on his car!! :smug: But what else would you expect from a Vectra owner? would you polish it??

My car gets parked under a Cherry tree at home so you can imagine the mess as 20 pigeons eat the black cherries then releive themselves over my car :(

When I used to have a fi*sta with alloys on it, my g/f used to think I was insane because I used to take the wheels off the car every week and clean and polish them. My arguement was that if you have paid £800 for some wheels, you don't want them looking like ******* and getting corroded. It must just be a guy thing

You guys are lucky, try living in the largest fishing port in Europe, with the Seagulls its like the dambusters.

But I enjoy washing my car, sometimes do it 3 times a week, when I'm home. When I'am away the wife does it once a week. That includes the 19's inside and out. She moans there is to much wheel to clean.
