Just wanted to say hello to all

I've got myself a 2005 IS200 the old model its a car I'll

Always liked I maybe paid a bit to much for her as I got

The car from a Lexus dealer in Bristol but it only has 31,000miles

I was looking at the later model but I still like this one more.

Its has the big Sat Nav which I've got to get the latest updates for

I've already order some xenons and LED fog lights and side lights .

I'm thinking about getting a high flow CAT also as its a we bit under powered

But when you drive a 440bhp Evo 8 most things do :)

Cheers Andy

Is it worth going with a high flow CAT on this model I'd like to get

Another 10 or 15 bhp more but keep it looking standard

A high flow cat should be better than standard but I do not know what kind of power increase you would see.

Would be best to combine it with a performance filter and exhaust change to get the best out of it :) but always worth making sure that the engine is performing properly before carrying out mods so you get the full benefit :winky: .

if i remember rightly, i believe it was Ormi who said the biggest benefit as far as cats go, is to get a decat manifold which removes the pre cats. and just leave the main one in. i could be wrong though. also, what LED fog lights have you ordered?

and welcome to the LOC :)

I found them on ebay they have 102 LEDs on them I'm hoping to use them as

Daytime running lighs the item number is 170579727823

I was hoping to give the car a we bit more power as it is a little on the slow side

only real way of getting more power out of it is a charger/turbo. :winky:

and i dont want to disapoint you, but i think from 2003 onwards they used H3 bulbs in the fog lights not HB4 because they changed the design of the fog light unit because they kept corroding. all the online bulb finders seem to have no clue this happened though. :duh:

mine is a 2003 and ive ordered a set of THESE from eBay for it, 68 is the most LEDs ive seen on an H3 type bulb.

Bugger I hope not I checked the manual and it said HB4,

The HID kit has turn up but I'm away in Canada at the min so

Can't check till I'm back.

I dont fancy a blower kit at the min the Evo is my power car

I just wanted to get it to rev a bit more freely than it does

yee i know what you mean, maybe a lighter flywheel would help the throttle response because i know the is200 does have a rather heavy one.

Sounds like a plan :)

I'm thinking of tinting the rear also and getting

New discs and pads all round to .

I can't do to much as the car is still under warranty

From Lexus for the next year and I was thinking of

Taking another year after that too plus I paid up

For the next 3 service's on the car
