Frontera Sport Swb Short Antenna

I've been told that these fit the IS200. Been on the phone to a Vauxhall dealer and the parts guy said that these are 18" long (not that short then)

Does anyone have one of these on their Lex and if so is it short (like the JDM antenna)? And would anyone know the Vauxhall Part No.?

yes they do fit, but they look the same as ours but only a little bit shorter ( 4 cm ish) , i belive it is the pre 2000 model that has them - not the post 2000 models.

you can pick up a short arial from any car shop i got one for £8 it fits fine

And for the benefit of other members, so does some Audi, VW, and Honda antenna's.

Mat has a Frontera antenna on his IS.

I'll consider a Group buy on the JDM type, if enough people are interested.

But you can get these from the states fairly cheaply, like what I did.

Cost me £27 including postage for genuine JDM one.

Not a sod of a difference, I found reception just as good.

But I do drive mostly in the city, where signal strength is high.

I'd say as you live in London, then you'll have no problems whatsoever.

And remember, your car WILL go faster, just because you have an antenna that offers less wind resistance. B)

I've just ordered one off eBay (item number 2423511355) which is a 90mm black or silver one for £6 plus delivery (£2.90) from germany. I think it looks pretty sweet and it comes with 5 years guarantee and they say that it's scratch-proof too.

Have a look and see what you think. Personally i'm sure that this little baby will make the car go faster like GRiM said and i've also heard that they also make the stereo louder and the car cleaner....not to mention attracting top quality women.. java script:emoticon('')
