I'm currently paying £400 with £150 excess with Norwich Union Direct. 34 years old with full no claims- protected. NU will give you 75% NCD.

Phil, word of warning on Abbey National. They are good value and I was with them for 2 years until my wife reversed into a parked car and claiming was a nightmare. Knowone in the claims Dept answers the phone. After 2 months the Repairer was still phoning me complaining that Abbey hadn't paid him.

Much as I hate the supermarkets taking over everything on the old high street they do seem to be suddenyl the best car unsurers. Over the last year at least a third of my office (about 20 people) have all switched to Tesco.Com. This includes every car from Citroen Saxo to the bosses 911 carrera and the odd Calibra Turbo inbetween.

I use Privilege (£450 - £150 excess - 30 yrs old

5+protected NCB) but they have been quietly taken over by Direct line. The first thing they did was to cancel ALL courtesy cars whilst yours was off the road !!!! Read the small print people!:wow:

Im 33, got banned for 6months for speeding about 4 yrs ago , full no claims, £250 excess, Girlfriend to drive too, its a GOOD policy & I pay £550 per year in monthly instalments!! Thats with the priviledge.
