Lost Keys Help Please

I have NO keys at all , except a mechanical one to get into the car, without a chip in it.

Surely somebody on here has had a similar problem..... Please can somebody point me in the right direction . I heard some peolpe can reflash the ecu? It also has proximatey smart entry system

Were all your master and sub master keys all on one keyring?

I know what Lexus will suggest and charge for and that is replacing the whole system, at least they will may be able to cut new key blades from the emergency one if it will fit the boot and glovebox to save a new lock set also.

The only suggestion I can make is contact a good auto locksmith.

It would seem that you need a master key to do anything.

The key fits wverything, but only had one master key and that has been lost ... So that's where I am at

Yeah that's what's confusing , the Americans seeme to be able to do it, but over here is a different matter..... And I can't believe we are that far behind

when i got my 2000 reg Ls400, it came with two none Battery keys as originalds were lost they open / start the car , but how did they buypass the chip to start the car .i will try and find out , i am puzzled come to think of it.

Must have had a chip Inside the plastic part of the key, moulded into it, some chips are just chips and don't require a Battery in the normal sense

Try remote key man on 07946404604 £175 to replace & reprogram lost lexus keys pre 2003 models.

PS being a smart arse I always have a spare key in the house and never have them all on one ring :(

Yeah smart arse lol .... I only had one key sadly... The number the other guy very kindly gave me was a great number. I passed it onto my locksmith who is looking into it to find out the way to do it......

It's tough when you don't get all 3 keys when you buy the car - I bought mine new so did not have the problem.

Looks like you are in good shape now though.
