Is There Any Difference Between A 99 Ls400 And A 2000 Ls400?

Hi guys

I wonder if someone can help. I have a 2000 ls400, but there is a guy who wants it badly and wants to do a deal with his 99 ls400.

Are there any differences between mine and his? The only difference i see is mine is a w reg and in green colour and his is a V reg in gold and mine is one of the last ls400's. I cant see any other differences. But this guy wants it badly.

I have both 99 snd 2000 , 00 looks a bit fresher , and has nav , but i have to day i like the 99 a little bit more , more headroom ? cant work that one out , but if one had to go it would be the 99.

It does pose the question why he is so desperate to swop, what about the mileage,service history,tax and MOT compared to yours?

I don't think there are many differences, if any. Why would you want to swap? Hardly seems worth it for £400.

yes I follow you - maybe he wants it because of the colour - or purely because your is one of the last ones to roll of the line - that car was in eBay for a few days then dissappeared

Yep thats the one. Yes he did say he wants mine because its one of the last ones. But then it makes me think, because mine is one the last ones, will the value go up? I do like mine.

If your car is all good & you are happy with it why change to the unknown ( there could be problems with the gold one hence the reason he wants to change).
