Adjust Rear Camera?

is it possible to adjust the rearview camera so that the red line is in the right place. If I line it up with (say) a wall, when get out and take a look I am at least 18 inches away from the wall. You might think the easy answer would be to put the red line 18 inches beyond the obstacle, but that does not look easy to judge.

Surely this is working as designed and to prevent you from parking too close to - let's say - another car so that you don't box them in and so that you can still get into your boot... or am I missing something?

When you can see the edge of the bumper, why would you want to adjust the red line.

Mike, I think the red line is a guide which still allows you enough room to get things in/out of the boot. You should be able to see the edge of the bumper at the bottom of the screen, line that up and you will only have a few inches to spare.

Well blow me - that pale blue shape at the bottom of the screen is indeed the bumper :D - I thought it was a graphic of some kind.

It took me sometime to realise the image was the bumper
