Argh , that's all we'll and good , but car is well out the main dealer network and is 8 years old , oiled all parts that are Seen but cannot access the linkage under the scuttle , so before I start pulling at parts etc i thought I would ask how :-)

You have to remove the two wiper arms. Then you have to remove the whole plastic cowling under the arms to gain access to the motor and linkage. It is a bit of a pain but at least the cowling is plastic held in with clips. I think there is also a bonnet seal along the edge which needs to be removed.

The mechanism has a few pivot points and a spring etc which could be the cause of the squeak.

On the back of this, my driver wiper creates a squeak when it reaches the lowest position.

I changed the arm and blade for a new Bosch Aero, cleaned the screen with rubbing-alchohol.

But there is still a bit of a squeak.

Any more thoughts? Use vinegar?

Something else.

( Or just turn the radio up ?! )
