Lexus Is200 Side View Mirror Stolen - Pls Help With Repair/parts

Dear Friends, someone stole the passenger side view mirror (LEXUS IS200 2001). The picture shows what is left (there is a cable hanging out (not sure what that is for). Please can you help me figure out what parts I need to buy and where from? Many thanks for any help I can get.

as all others i can find don't come with the plastic holder for the glass.

Thanks Ian, so this means I ll have to replace the entire wing mirror (as the plastic holder is also gone)

You can get the glass with holder but can't find any for sale at the minute. You could try ACLex on here, Andy is a parts manager at lexus and can usually find any part you need.

The two wires are for the heated element part of the mirror, i'd tape them up till you get a replacement!

One point to check ... I assume your mirrors are not auto dimming? just make sure before you buy replacement mirror glass.

On my IS300 both side mirrors and the centre rear view mirror all three are auto dimming.

The auto dimming door mirrors are only on the is300 and the is200LE and maybe 05 models.

Many thanks Ian/guys. Just sent a message to Andy to see if he can find anything. Otherwise I am tempted to go for the item on eBay. Will call a few stores tomorrow to see if they have the 'holding base'.

The mirror glass in that eBay link is not of an is200 it looks like a stick on replacement for another car. it is completely the wrong shape.

also check the electrical connector i have discovered two different ones.

I larger grey one off older models and a smaller black one of my 2004 model.
