I am seeking a series 4 LS 400. I would like a mint, lowish mileage car with good service history. Before members cite how well these cars handle high mileages, I know and agree that this is the case. However, I have always gone for cars with moderate to low mileage and have rarely gone wrong, so I know what I want. I am based in South Yorkshire but will travel for the right car.

I can be contacted on 07952 294085 or by email on h999@fsmail.net

Thank you,

Your talking about a car that is at least 13-14 years old so finding a low mileage whilst not impossible is going to be very hard. Also a low mileage LS400 causes me to be suspicious. eg where's it been all its life? etc These cars need to be constantly driven to maintain their quality

Hi Hugh, welcome to LOC.

I agree with the comment, that as the last of these cars were made in 2000, it may be hard to find what you're looking for, especially a mint one with low mileage. I bought mine in September last year with 94K which I consider low for the year (99) so I guess it depends on what you consider low.

No, the year is 99. Now it's done 103K so it's almost at the end of its life, woe is me!

Hi all

It is likely that as time goes on my search may extend to higher mileage cars and I have to be realistic. I have been looking at Irish cars on the basis that their road tax for large engined cars is horrendous. I'm amazed at anyone over there who still has an LS
