I have been thinking about how easy it would be to refurb my alloys myself.. there not badly scraped just blistering.. Could i use something like nitromoors to strip it .. I have seen in the big H that they do silver alloy wheel aerosol sprays.. and it got me thinking.. what your thoughts??

I wouldn't bother with a DIY job, just had all mine done for £180 and they look as new. Mine had been badly kerbed by the last owner :crybaby: Best £180 i ever spent! Get em done right, even my mrs thinks it was money well spent  and thats a first!

i did mine myself ,someone had them powdercoated and they looked w**k. used nitromoors but it took 3hrs a wheel to get to bare ally, took them to work and sprayed them using a good etch primer a bright sparkle silver then 4 coats of 2pack laquer. That was9 months ago and not a blemish anywhere. they put my brother-in-laws standard ones to shame,he wants his doing now.give it a go and good luck!!!
