Flash Wash Thingy

Recommended Posts

Heard a rumour that I am getting the flash wash system thing for Fathers day. - but still have the chance to direct the wife towards something else.

Got a black car so unless I dry it and usaully polish it every time, it looks very streaky. So it could be good for me if it works.

Anyone got one and does it stop streaks etc ?

(dont get me wrong a love polishing it, but sometimes you need a quick fix)

Works really well, leaves the car completely streak free, great for quick washes

Two things I don't like about it

1. It leaves a wax finish on the windscreen, which smeared abit when using the wipers.

2. It doesn't bead as well as normal polishes as it designed to get the water to run off to reduce the streaking

I love it, I am real lazy when it comes to washing my car but even I can spare less than an hour a week to wash with this...

& the magic water realy impresses the wife  :winky:

Stuart

I dont think mine would be so impressed with being hosed down in the drive though

Tip....

Use meguairs... or similar....

clay the car completely

Polish the car completely

Seal the entire car with glaze wax...

Then to maintain rich deep luscious shine use a quick wax spray after u wash the car, takes 10 mins...

Trust me, you will be amazed!!!!!!!!!

I use Flash on my LS400.

It makes it look reaaaallly shiny as long as you don't do it in direct sunlight.

It's also lasted me longer than it says on the instructions.

It does the hard work, so I don't have to. :winky:

If it would only make my wheels look like yours - I 'd do it daily - best wheels I've seen

Got one, used it.

definately drys without streaks and spots.

Find myself still wanting to polish, or is it caress it ?

Think I'll get this meguairs stuff.

Says it leaves a wet like look - that would be nice.
