  2. Hi all my name is Bruce Palmer I own a Lexys 600 LH 16 months ago I lost all hybrid drive, I have been looking for a solution all this time. After seeing Giles' blog on here on how he fixed his pump by changing the bearings. I have now fixed my problem in the same way. My car is now working perfectly. A massive thankyou to Giles and the forum without which I would still be searching for a solution. Or having been told by Lexus reading that I needed a new gearbox at a cost of over £6000.00. Now fully repaired by Motolube of Hawthorn Hill (Andy) At a cost of £700.00. Anyone else having problems with their Hybrid drive. It is a small fix if the pump is seized. Code P 2797 Lexus UK said in every case it has required a new Gearbox. Once again thanks to Giles and Andy

  4. I was given a leather care kit from a company called Leathermaster, this contained 2 cleaning solutions (normal and strong) plus leather cream and a little container of ink remover. I think the latter is still in the garage so will take a look and send it to you. Here you go http://leathermasteruk.com/shop/

  6. Am expecting a phone call to say it is in stock on Wednesday, and the nice fleet lady has said that if it is it will be with my Company on Monday 2nd March. They have also arranged delivery this time in an enclosed lorry so it should get to me pristine and in one piece this time !! Just one more week to wait, seems and awfully long time since June when I ordered the first time.

  7. Agreed about Swinton emailing and ringing, but they aren't alone in that regard, Saga still send stuff to my mother and she died nineteen years ago! Water off a ducks back to me though.

  9. The IS F spec is meant to match the spec of the IS250 SE-L plus PCS/ACC and multimedia. Therefore they should all have auto-dimming door mirrors. Typically the door mirror dimming is controlled by the interior rear view mirror - it has the sensor and the on/off control and wires from there go to the external mirrors. This is certainly the way it works on my old 400h and my current IS300h - I don't have a wiring diagram for the series II IS but I can only imagine it is the same. Quite easy to test, shine a torch at the sensor on the rear view mirror and see if they dim.

  10. I worried about this when I first bought mine.. Tried the AC and various other things, but it turns out for some reason, its the heater. As soon as you set the temperature above something like 21 degrees, the revs increase. Weird really, as ive never had a car do this before. At least you know that its nothing to worry about though mate. Scott
