  1. I've been looking at getting a Hauppauge WinTV HVR900 USB TV card for use on my Sony Vaio laptop and wondered if they are any good. I am a bit concerned that the supplied aerial may only work if you are next to the transmitter, and carrying a full size aerial around is somewhat impractical.lol If anyone has or is useing one of these USB TV cards I would be very interested in your comments whether good or bad.
  2. Another accident waiting to happen methinks. :duh:
  3. My thanks as well Rillo, it's great when things are explained in a language us humans can understand (that's assuming you can read basic english but are confused by gobblygook) :D
  4. Wow! that's a fantastic skill. :D :P
  5. I'm getting up to 100 a day now, it was about 50 per day. Wonderfull investment opportunities, viagra and ***** enlargements. So far none of the investments offered have been fruitfull, but I live in hope. The viagra tablets I received have a slight effect if used as suppositries and the ***** enlargement ointment has shrunk an already unersize member to that of an underfed gnat. Otherwise they were wirth every penny.
  6. Every night for the next two weeks on Eurosport at 9:00pm. The best and toughest motoring event of the year. Makes F1 drivers look like a bunch of overpaid girls blouses.
  7. Oops! just found a contact phone number for Lexus GB, Their Customer Services standards have gone up a knotch in my book. :D

  9. Thanks to nicnacs info and photo I managed to get at the Satnav disc today. I wanted to order the UK only disc for 2006-2007 but all I can order on their website is the update for the Overview disc which is in the car. Why didn't Lexus ask which disc I wanted when buying the car? The Overview disc is ideal for anyone intending to take their car abroad but not much use for the likes of me who has no intention of doing so. I tried to phone the Lexus update site and Lexus GB site, but could not find a phone number on either. But then, why would they want a customer bothering them with a phone call. After all we are only the lowly people who have created their jobs and pay their wages, so we don't matter to Lexus Customer services. Rant over
  10. Have sent another Email nicnac, but if you do not receive it I have added to my LOC details as well.
  11. .Thanks nicnac, I've sent you an Email by the way.
  12. I thought I would have a look at my sat nav disk to see what version it is. Stupid idea as it turned out :duh: I managed to get the two removal tools (pins) into the holes either side of the panel. The manual then says to slip a flat screwdriver into the slot below the emergency flasher button. Ha! what slot do they mean? I could not find a slot anywhere near that area. I did manage to slip a small screwdriver blade under the bottom of the panel, but trying to ease the panel out was a no no. Any more force would have cracked the plastic which i was not prepared to risk. So I thought, if I squeese the two removal tools together to grip the panel and pull while pushing down on the screwdriver the panel might pop out. No such luck, all I managed to do was to snap one of the removal tool pins (Idid manage to remove the broken pin as there was a millimeter left sticking out) and I am still no nearer finding out what sat nav disk I have. If anyone can provide a idiot proof guide to removing the disk it would be much appreciated. I'll then try again once I find an alternative removal tool which does the job. A hint as to where the slot for the screwdriver is would also help. :D Thanks.
  13. Anees, tell your cousin that if he does not refund the £100 immediatly I will arrange for the fleas of a thousand camels to infest his *****.

  17. Yes they do exist, there is a new one just out. Ask your dealer, he should be able to find out more about it. Lexus UK seem to keep to want to keep it a secret that updated navigation CD's and DVD's actuallyy exist. Yes but as far as i know the uk disxc doesn't cover the republic of Ireland. Have a look at http://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/ and see if it is suitable.
