    I have a auto but i agree with matt-c best thing I fitted was the armrest on a long run on a motorway it s just great you won't be disappointed

    hi have you checked the coolant level in the radiator not just in the header tank

    hi we had a merc in the garage and it had a misfire code found the cat had broken up and blocked the exhaust bring up a misfire code maybe something to look at

    hi kenfoxy did they change the idler and tensioner and belt as the 3 parts will come to £200 so i would check if they replaced all 3

    as i said after 6 years it will deteriorate but this is hard to check wear can be seen just change it as this will give you peace of mind as if it breaks this will be expensive

    hi yes the cam belt has to be replaced as over the 6 year the belt will deteriorate

    its part of the timing belt adjuster

    no you can just top it up but if it needs topping up you will have a leak so best just to top it up and check for a leak also most power steering fluids and auto gearbox fluids are the same just look at the spec on the bottle normally red in colour

    hi in the orginal post he said the oil is only 4 weeks old

    hi the gearbox filter is inside the gearbox so you will have to take the sump pan of the gear box if you have got the filter then you will see the part you need to change the treatment we used was Wynn's also get a sump pan gasket

    hi before doing anything change the filter just get one off Lexus if this does not sort the problem try a auto gear box treatment we have used this on a BMW 635 and it did the trick

    to get the air from the system is easy just remove the rad cap and run the car up to temp and top up rad as any air will expel from the open rad then just turn off engine and let it cool down and top up rad and expansion tank once done take car for test drive and check for any leaks

    hi if you think its coming from the gearbox it maybe the flywheel or clutch breaking up if its coming from behind the dash then you may have a air lock in the cooling system

    hi there are plenty of these being broken on eBay just ask the garage to strip the car and give you a list of what you need and get them of eBay you will save money this way

    hi there is a full supercharger kit on eBay at the moment if your interested just another way to get more power

    i would measure what you have in now and get the same

    hi i think the aftermarket rad core is 16mm and original is 25mm not to hard to change
