  1. Hi as Steve2006 said get it fault code read first they might just need to clear the codes as the vehicle has been standing for a while and the battery may have been flat and this can bring up fault codes on its own. The garage will normally clear them first then ask you to drive the car and see what fault codes come back on and then there is plenty of members on here to help you but they need to know the codes first good luck
  2. hi you could stick it back on with tiger seal you can get this at a panel and paint shop as body shops use this to fix panels on with just make sure both parts are clean before applying hope this helps
  3. Hi you have to remove the cam belt to replace the water pump so you will have to remove all the belts to get to the cam belt as these cars are so well built this is not a hard job for a home mechanic

  7. Hi that's not the water pump leaking its the bypass leaking if you take the two bolts out just above the leak there is a small connector piece with two o rings just replace the two o rings
  8. Hi just checked mine the fans only run when the air con pump is engaged then the fans stop when the pump disengages
  9. HI when i change the cam belt on these cars i remove the fans so just check that the fans wires have been reconnected

  11. Hi as noby 76 said these gearboxes just dont stop workiing it may just need a oil and filter change what mileage was on the clock when it went wrong but i would take it back and ask for your money back i think the mileage is stored in the computer

  17. hi there's a rad on eBay that's new with fans
  18. If its coming out of the seam the rads finished and will need replacing don't use it till you replace it or the next thing will be head gasket
  19. hi check your water level in the rad not just the header tank if its low in the rad start the engine and top up the rad while its running this will expel any air then check for any leaks and see if the fans kick in
  20. if you wire the positive to a permanent live and the negative to the warning light wire from the back of the alternator this will make the led come on with the ignition off but go off when you start the engine as this wire is a negative with the engine not running but turns to a positive when the engines running
  21. hi the negative wire can be wired into the ignition warning light negative wire as this wire becomes a positive when the car is running
