Took my NX in for 1st. Service today & Loaned an F-Sport UX . The Pros. Lovely to drive & c. 45mpg. The Rear Seating is fine & so, too, the Boot, albeit a touch shallow. The Cons. High CAR v. SUV ratio. Very Costly @ 43K. for my NX Spec. Tel

You had convinced me that Apple Play was an option we really needed so I was excited when our Aygo ExCite arrived with this option. Music Options may be First Class but the Nav Options are not as I hoped. Apple Maps are the best but do not show Speed Camera Data. Waze does & even warns of Pot Holes. Initially I was impressed until I found it generally does not Re-Route in Rural Settings.If you read the Spec.it checks your chosen deviation for 5 minutes to evaluate whether your Route is an advantage & ,if it isn't, it does not Reroute. Google shows Speed Cameras as a small orange circular icon but the audible warning has been removed & the Mapping is very basic. You can of course down load Tom Tom @ a cost. Tel

My NX F-Sport has AVS which was revised for model year 2019. In D-Mode the ride is significantly softer than normal F-Sport Suspension In D-Sport the ride is firmer but more refined than the normal suspension. In D-Sport+ the ride is firm & considerably boosts the Handling. To say AVS does not read the road ahead the 700/second adjustments, up from c.250 before, really work. Assume the UX AVS is the same. Ensure you have the Optional Pack that has AVS as you need to counter the Run Flat Tyre "harshness". My NX has AVS & the ride is transformed on F-Sport versions. Tel

Ed, I agree totally but the Lexus/Toyota Forums & the Club Lexus Forum all rave about Waze so much that I was really looking forward to the May Up-Date on our cars. My Aygo X-CIte experience has somewhat dampened my enthusiasm. Tel

Waze does not ReRoute because the Route it selects is that that is used by 99% of its Clients. If you read the Spec., when you deviate, the AP checks if your decision is better & will only Re Route if that is the case. I trust my Lexus Nav in many European Cities but Waze's inability to Re-Route in Rural Countryside disappoints me. Tel

Keith, Waze only Re-Routes if the selected route off Piste so to speak is judged better than the one Waze prefers. My Expectation to Equal the Premium Nav has failed The Apple Mapping is very good but for the last 20 years I have set the Destination @ the start & switching between Options just does not appeal. So X-Cite is set to Apple & the NX Nav is set for 99% of journeys Tel

Car Play Apps are imperfect. My NX Nav is clear & works perfectly although the Speed Camera audible Warning is too quiet. My Aygo X-Cite has Car Play. Apple Maps are excellent but lack Speed Cameras Waze does not Re Route Google Maps are Basic & visual Camera Location is a small orange icon. Tel

Went on My Lexus to transfer a new Journey & found I needed to change my Password. Once on noticed all my previous Journeys were absent. Started my car & 2 messages popped up saying My E-Mail/Password was incorrect & ,whilst driving, unable to Connect to the Internet. Changed the Password on the eu Portal on the Nav but the above messages prevail with zero Traffic info of course. iPhone 10 with Hotspot On & no recent Apple software Up Dates. Set my Yoko"s to 32psig & the ride has been totally transformed. D-Mode is" soft" & Sport+ Mode is now the former D- Mode . AVS really works. Tel

The AVS was significantly revised in the Autumn of 2018 & now cycles 800 times per second as opposed to 260 previously. When I drove out of my Dealership with my NX I really thought my tyre pressures were low as there was no bump thump. The tyres were set @ 36psi & in Sport+ Mode the ride is more refined than normal F-Sport Systems @ 36psig. Thanks to David I will now set the Tyres to 32 psi & reap the benefits of ride improvement. Cannot believe my Dealer has twice set the Tyres to 36psig & I have accepted their setting. Tel

I have the wrong tyres but the AVS more than compensates for them. AVS transforms F-Sport Suspensions. Tel

Has the Route been sent to the car in your Journey Planner ? If so it Downloads when you next start your car with your phone's personal Hot Spot set ON Drops into Favourites from memory. Tel

I drive my NX & achieve 34.5 mpg on rural roads in single figure temperatures. Check your tyre pressures are spot on, let your engine always reach operational temperature before you start driving your car & never bury your throttle to overtake. If I need good acceleration I change to Sport+ & swoosh by. Tel

M, Steve is so right & my concentration lapsed when I entered my garage with my pristine clean car as the heavens opened. I was in reverse & ignored the image of my bike. Cost me £140 to erase a very minor scratch. The Auto- Brake is fantastic & has saved me twice in crawling traffic yet I have to drive over the Auto -Brake jolt every time I garage my NX. The cars Systems are superb & you ignore them @ your peril. All the best. Tel

Try tagging with a different word that still describes him. On my Is 300h Sport to call my Home phone I had to say that but on my latest NX I just say call Home. Over many years I have found it does work if All Contacts have their surnames which is a pain for your family members but it does work. Tel

On reflection,with the car perfectly clean / sudden downpour scenario,I focused on garage parking alignment alone. Truly pathetic. Will be sorted next week. Apparently Black car scratches are easy to hide by Touch-up kit methodology & even seamless repairs. The latter will cost c.£140 Tel

For reasons that I am trying to forget reversed into my mountain bike parked in my garage during a downpour. Result is a minor scratch @ the base of the rear bumper that easily satisfies the criteria as listed in the Inchcape Cosmetic Repair description.of minor damage I would post a picture but it is still raining heavily. Try sitting in Park with the Handbrake OFF & see if it still Jerks. Latesrst Cars have Autobrake when you select Park but yours will be manual select so just try it without Tel

Manually Tuning DAB to get Virgin Radio Stations yet could not find how to select the Ensemble that delivers the best reception. The Lexus Manual they sent me showed me how to Select but is clearly not for my 2019 System as I now deduce the Ensemble you Select is fixed automatically.
