Hi all, I was faced with these concerns before I supercharged, I think the engine is advanced but has been lowered in power, the car is fine with the compressor I spoke to tte and it is perfectly ok. The main point is that lexus (japan) dont like their cars played with, they tried to put a stop on superchargers at first. Becuase of this no one makes any engine upgrades for induction, chips etc. In the USA where the IS300 rules they are doing all sorts (swift racing technologies). They are getting quite a few hp from induction kits. Hopefully this will change, some Lexus Dealers do think the supercharger should be an official add on.

Does anyone know if the boot lip spoiler on the IS200 sport is screwed on on scotch tape like the badges.

If you change the pulley you can get about 30bhp more, 154bhp+ 50bhp compressor+ 10bhp exhaust =214 bhp if you add pulley you could be looking at about 244bhp. However all these figures are a bit unknown, I am trying to find a good rolling road to get exact bhp. TTE may have released slightly lower figures. Had mine laser aligned after new springs. Had to do 500 miles first. I seem to find it easy to lose the front end on a damp road . Maybe becuase of the power from compressor. Does anyone else find it easy to get the front to slide a bit?

Hi all, Just an idea, but I get on very well with my dealer, would it be worth it for those of that can to try and creat some serious interest about the club and meetings with our dealers. If it works we could try to get them intersted in the aftersales accessories, I mean my dealers think compressors should be fitted by themselves and an official UK add on. It may be possible for us to influence them to our benefit. I mean the best people to play with our cars are the Lexus mechanics. It would be good to get some one from Lexus UK to our meeting. When I bought my car in jan 2001 the MD of lexus uk seen it in the showroom with body kit and carbon fibre and was very interested. We have created this interest so lets maintain it and try to improve on it were it may be of seriuos help.

hi rob, you canget more powerfull xenon bulbs, at http://www.powerbulbs.com I am using philips clear blue, they have xenon gas in them. They are 30%brighter and give appearance of hid. you can also get hyperplasma fom http://www.street-looks.com if you do keep yuor lights swithed on auto as they are a higher watt bulb and can blow. I use shell optimax, and carry octane boost in boot if I have to use ordinary fuel. Shell optimax has an octane rating of 98.
