  1. Slightly darker silver grey than original looks good on blue
  2. I haven't, only an original spare, I do have a black sport grille but I'm keeping it, I like the LE one as much so want the option of both, a pic of yours would be good, there's no rush, cheers
  3. Off the top of my head I can't think exactly how I do it (we use a device at work for data transfer) but it involves changing settings to do with usb de-bugging, and 'staying awake'
  4. the galaxy ace requires a memory card to be inserted as its own internal storage is limited, there should be one in the box
  5. rear light isn't expensive new from the dealer, be aware there's 3 different ones to choose from
  6. Hi Guys, I want to put an LE Grille on my car that was optional on the 2004 Kodiak Sky LE model IS does anyone have one available that isn't badly stone chipped? I am happy buying it although I do have a standard grille that I can offer in px Cheers Rory
  7. when you turn the key and the electrics come on, have a look where your battery needle is pointing on your dial, and when you start the car does the needle go anywhere, i've just bought a battery (but not changed it yet) 3 days ago as when I put my key in the needle is pointing to below 9v, and the car struggles to start, but when running the needle goes up to 13ish, which is the right place, suggesting that the alternator is doin its job still, i'm gonna stick the new battery in 2moro cos if I leave the car unused for 24 hours it just won't start, but i've been lazy about it new battery from the dealer is £71 inc vat at the moment
  8. oone of mine was intermittent, turned out to be a little moister inside the cluster, unplugged the sidelight and and drove with the lights on to dry it out and been fine since
  9. Hi as suggested by Rich OB it is very likely to be your third brake light(that is the one in between the speakers at the back) i'm led to believe its one of the main brake lights not the centre one, either bulb blown or even just loose
  10. 225 40 18 is the recommended size, what brand and are they and are they new or part worns?
  11. mine is the same, apart from the aircon bit, drops after about half a minute tho so i've never bothered, had the car 18 months and it hasn't gotten worse
  12. the wheels should fit, but the tyres would need changing, I have seen people with IS220/250 wheels on IS200, and rx wheels on is200, so no reason rx wheels wouldn't fit is220/250, unless i'm missing somethin
  13. ebay is a gold mine when you come across rubbish ads, my brother constantly buys alloys where the seller has simply put "alloys" and he'll then list them with as many relevent cars in the title to increase visibility and makes a nice chunk on almost every set I too got a bargain set of OEM illuminated door sills, the seller stated he didn't know which model, altho did list the part number, I paid £23 delivered, but then I couldn't figure out the wiring diagram so stuck them on at £100 buy it now, sold within mins, £65 profit after fees :D
  14. Hi, if you could email pics to rnr81@hotmail.com that would be great, Cheers

  15. yeah had the LE grill on before and still have it but one bracket is cracked, thanks i went for the rear lights as im not a fan of the standard lights and considerd 80/20 splits but prefer the jdm look over the stateside look but i guess its each to there own ;) might the LE grille be for sale at all? ;)
  16. what grille was on before the JDM one? if it was the LE one do you still have it? Car looks very good, never been a fan of the rear light covers but really like the rest
  17. £88 all in- arranged my own courier for £27 so not too bad for £115. Quick referb and they will probably be back on the 'bay in a couple of week... I'll keep my eyes open for them
  18. my old one had heated mirrors but no mirror pic on the button
  19. depending on price after a refurb id be interested in these, thats if you go back to a shade close to the factory silver...?
  20. theres a 2002 is300 with just over 60k on ebay for about £3600, very similar fuel economy as the 200 but much rarer
  21. when the government first decided to increase tax post 2001 IS was gonna be over £400, but then they did it in 2 steps, post 01 and post 06, post 06 being stupidly high
  22. I just don't let people out anymore - my ex has been in the boot for over a month

    Tyres

is that speaking from experience or just cos they are cheap and thats what you'd expect for the money?? its worth mentioning that Yokohama started out as a budget brand I have Nankang NS2 on mine, they are 225/40 18's, they are rubbish in the snow, but obviously its a wider tyre than what is on 17's and 16's, on a rear wheel drive car and it isn't a winter tyre however for my every day driving they are absolutley fine, wears evenly, grips absolutely fine, at £50 a corner i'd happily have them again when the time comes
  24. I could do with a decent driving game too, but simple one where you switch it on, select a car, select a track, and race people and try and win, simple
