  1. Thanks for being able to fit me in Janey but I'd like to give up my place so someone else from the forum can have the chance as I've been offered a stand pass elsewhere. I think this is the most suitable option as I can see that you have all been struggling a bit getting hold of passes. Will pop down to the stand tho and say hello. Thanks again and hope someone else can take up the space.
  2. Is there any stand passes and advanced tickets left for this please as I want to come??
  3. bloody hell thats well good I think considering the car. my civic that I've got and drive currently til the lex is sorted does roughly 200 miles on £20-£25 petrol and thats a 1.4 ;)
  4. talking of water pumps and as my car is off the road at the moment, I've heard loads of times as this being a common problem, can someone tell me the syptoms of a dodgy water pump please?
  5. Now thats quite impressive I think considering what everyone says about the IS drinking. As my car aint on the road yet I cant comment yet but as soon as I get it on the road its going to have a full service and then I'll be able to comment on my mpg too. Just out of curiosity tho, should I get my belts done too?
  6. as its a new car does it come with complementary recovery cover as part of the warranty? if so then give them a ring mate and notify lexus as well. whatever the problem i'm guessing it must be covered by the warranty

  11. lmao!!! Whats the chances in damaging the wheels tho
  12. When I purchased my car recently I found out that the locking nut key was unfortunatly missing and so was the key number. After some research I came across locking wheel nut removal sockets which have internal threading but reversed so that the sockets can lock onto the nut and therefore remove it. Unfortunatly I've found out that the locking nut removal sockets can break easily as well and most of the ones available are the Laser branded which is the brand that a lot of companies including halfords are pulling off their shelves. I went to halfords today to find that the only set they had which was Laser branded was damaged as well so can someone help me with my predicament please? Is there anyone in the manchester area with a decent removal set or with the knowhow of removing locking nuts without damageing wheels? I've found most of the parts for my car but until I sort this issue out I wont be able to take it to a bodyshop. Cheers
  13. ermm how good are they? I've already got a bumper lined up but if I could get a better one then its all good.
  14. I've noticed that the passenger side front wheel on my lil project has been pushed back a bit and have been told its most probably the wishbone. Can anyone advise me on their thoughts and how much will it cost me to fix? Hope it aint the suspension.
  15. know of any for sale then? ;) and how much for a standard bumper then mate with washer jets?

  20. From what I've heard you have to be warey with HP stuff as they say they accept 4GB ram max but actually on a lot of machines although they say 4GB, they will only accept 3GB. Have a look on the HP website and their support forums. The information which I have read is more related to their notebooks but I'm guessing theres a possibility that it could relate to desktops as well.
  21. So I'm guessing that the IS engines are tuned more to 98/100 ron petrol then?
