Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your family at this time.. And the only thing i want to say is please patch things up with your dad, i was unfortunate enough to see my father die suddenly when i was 18, and now i crave the thigs we should be doing together like buying cars and going to the pub. You still have that chance to be with him, even if its just a drink, i can never experience that. Nobody knows how much their fathers mean to them till they loose them and by that time its just too late. I hope things go well and that you can both use this sadness to make your bond stronger

Well i have seen that on a lot of altezzas, im sure its called an RS2000 kits or something, you can buy models of that kit labelled that way. It does look nice tho

as long as its lower and stiffer i will be a happy man. My SE feels like a 4X4 some days when i look at the ride height, lol. Plus i trust that matt has specced the springs well and if he likes them then so do i!

Well i am getting rather annoyed with my powersteering belt at the min, as it is still squeeling (gets worse when you steer). Oiling it as per toyota/lexus dealer advised is getting me nowhere fast! Was looking around there and saw what looked like some sliding mount tabs? I dont realy see why the belt should slip anymore if it is tightend up a bit, or would this be done for me at my 50k service? Any help would be great as i am fed up of the noise as it ruins the quality of the car when it sounds like an old cavaler with a dodgy fan belt

Well i got the highest bid on the auction (yay) and my car will finaly be lowered as it should be, am seeming to notice bodyroll a lot more since i considered getting it lowered and its realy getting on my nerves! So i hope to get you guys some long term test results for the springs when they are on the car, just cant wait now.

well all i can say is my car certainly got me a fair few "interesteing" encounters! When i had my rover 600 turbo i got jack :tsktsk: attention and had no action in it! Within two weeks of lex ownership i was having girls come up to me (dont tell the mrs) and all sorts of fun things happened (some stuff i just wont mention but i have photos, lol) hahaha. Getting the tints definately helped and the amount of times i was offered money to drive someone round the corner to drop them off at the local night club !!! by girls, they are totaly vain! Its always good. plus as we saw last time at the bluewater meet the girl at the restaurant remembered me as the Lexus man, lol. cars do make a difference to the way you are treated, by both sexes! men hate you women love you, lol.

yeah, im gonna take my car to the local RC place and have them give it an overhaul soon, it a belt drive car and i want to get a new one plus full call bearing upgrade to the whole car. want to some adjustable shocks and more carbon fibre!!! you can never get enuf carbon fibre

as far as i remember scorpion managed to do that to a tte front bumper. and it did work

oooooopppss i kinda forgot that the 8th of feb was the MRS birthday, she has just given me the third degree for organising the meet on her birthday (she looked in my diary!) i think if we can move the first meet to the 15th and arange a second meet in march or april? by that time my car will also be a bit lower to the ground! hehe. plus the weather will be a bit warmer and it will be my 12th month of lex ownership. does this sound ok to everyone, to sumerise 1st meet the 15th of feb. 2nd meet the 4th of april

im still a believer that insurance should be a government thing like our taxes, im getting fed up of greedy companies just picking a figure out of the air for a quote! I wish that insurance was also connected to a car via the tax disc, so that the govenment know who has tax and if they are insured! in the end it isnt difficult to fake an insurance document to show to a "not to bright post office lady" to get your tax is it? Also if the govenment ran the insurance company then with the sheer amount of revenue they would bring in then the prices would drop, and also in some ways i support the idea of having cars "tagged" with electronic transponders so they can track if a car is on the road or not. again link that in with insurance and tax computers and we would soon kill off the idiotic breed of pepole who dont think its their responsability to pay for their actions. (altho there would be the whole "big brother" issue about tracking) Also there should be public shaming and beatings of all who drive without tax and insurance (perhaps bring back the stocks in the middle of the village with rotten vegetables etc to throw at them)

well i am £1400 fully comp with 1 years no claims and at the time had been driving for 1 year, am hoping that the premium will fall a lot more. Its the curse of living 3 miles withing the dreaded m25 zone....... i have freinds living 4 miles the other side of it paying half what i do!

i would say that a 27x1 was a 27 turn motor, if you want lots of torque get a 9 turn motor! also i am gonna have to change my pinion gear as i only have a 14 tooth one coming off the motor and the acceleration is phenominal, problem is it can be hard to hold a drift, want to change it to about a 24tooth pinion to give more controlability. change your tyres too to some hard compount wet tyres, then cover them with electrical tape, hehehe, hrs of fun

Well its been a few months since the last one in october, and i was thinking with the recent spell of bad weather if it would be worth another trip to bluewaters sheltered and well lit car parks! Plus the food was pretty good last time!! So who is up for it, i was gonna suggest the 8th or the 15th of febuary. the turnout was good last time, plus its easier to persuede the other half that a trip to bluewater is needed!!!!! come on guys who's gonna go
