ok well lets just say then that there are no sub £250 zorsts i would spend my dough on. Obviously the fact that they phoned me up means they are serious about making this product. And it will be nice getting it direct from the factory. Perhaps we should have a thread thinking of what products we would want from certain companies and then we can mass mail them, lol. i will keep you all informed as to the outcome of this venture. yeah im not denying that you can get the hiper now, but what about in 6 or 12 months when all of the last ones have been sold?

in the end we dont want to be shelling out more than we have to for mods, and magnex have been making zorsts for years. even do work for aston martin etc.

I emailed magnex a few days ago to see if they made a system for the IS200, and it appears that they dont. BUT!!! a nice lady phoned me up from magnex and it appears that they are interested in making an cat back exhaust for the is200 if we can get enough potential buyers. After speaking to her we agreed that they would make it to look like the hks hipers and to have a similar exhaust note. And agreed that the price would be no more than £220. Does this sound good to you guys. It would be a full stainless steel box with all the good looks of a hks and half the price. plus i got her to agree to giving everyone on the lexus owners club a generous discount Personaly i think this could be a good thing seeing as the Hipers are an extinct breed and that the peco is the only sub £250 exhaust. Please show your support so that we can get this made. it would bring owning a decent looking and sounding exhaust into the realms of more people.

not gonna be able to make it to gaydon, but im hoping to have it done by the bluewater meet. i have quite a few mods in the pipeline (no pun intended) hoping to win the auction on the Toms eyelids, have a sports grill that needs to get some paint on and am gonna be installing a new amp and sub. so im a busy boy at the mo.

Sorry i forgot to price up the filter as i already have one. its a Green universal filter (cone shape). but all the other bits aint too bad cost wise

i would suggest citing both the offender of the "harrasment at work" and also the MD for not taking any action. The i think that as the MD has not taken any action that he is very likely incompetant and has little understanding of employment law. which is to your advantage. Gain evedence and write a formal letter to your manager notifying him of your displeasure. Date all letters as they will be vital to proving that they did not take any action. Once a letter of complaint has been recieved they have to take some form of action plus you will be able to use the letters as evedence. plus you should request some form of reply from them to ensure that action will be taken. Go to see the citizens advise beureau as they will advise you on all avenues you can take. and iff all else fails im sure there are a few of us here who would be willing to put him on hte right tract to becoming a better person! dont let them get away with it. no one has the right to force you out of a job.

With a correctly designed kit you could actualy get a better mpg. When i fitted my first HKS hiper exhaust i got better mpg too. its all about getting the car to operate at its maximum potential

Well lets look at the normal airbox:- Restrictive to keep noise down and keep economy, basicaly a compromise between power and noise. Non adjustable unless you buy a performance air filter but minimal gains. Induction kit:- More direct route and less restrictive straight into the throttle body. More free flowing filter Deeper growel to the exhast note plus an induction roar as it pulls in the air. power gains and more throttle responsiveness Costs can be very large for a pre made system where as a home made system can cost as little as £40

I was wondering if anyone could give me the diameter for the induction kit piping for the Na is200. Just out of curiosity as i have heard of people making their own and have seen a few that have been done. But the main thing seems to be the diameter versus the length of pipe used. just wanted to get a decent comaprison. cheers in advance

BLUEWATER Its europes largest shopping mall and is a great place for meets. The earliest i would suggest for a meet there at the weekends is 5pm due to the tens of thousands of people that go there. it all shuts at 5pm and is relatively empty by 5.45pm leaving us tons and tons of covered car park space plus lots of restaurants within a 2 min walk!

go for a centre exit thru a cut in under car diffuser? jgtc style. or a rectangular box with a centre exit?

its not a waste its an adaptation. we all want Hipers but we cant get them easy. a quick way is to adapt an existing product. Necessity is the mother of all inventions as the saying goes. It would be great if we can sort out that group buy but until then we should explore other options. As we all know HKS definately make the best zorsts about, and if this mod works then i will probably end up doing it myself unless the deal gets sorted soon

having come from full leather to the suede centres i much prefer the suede. your bum doesnt stick to the seats or get so sweaty in the summer, plus the burning sensation to the back and legs after its been in the sun for a long time isnt there with suede. leather is freezing first thing on a cold morning. Also the suede grips you much better and stops you and your passengers sliding about all over the place. stay with the suede. or re trim to new suede

Well im sure that a competant custom exhaust maker/fitter like powerflow may be willing to help you "experiment" or a local welding firm. wouldnt take too much to remove the item and if you did it clean enuf then it may be possible to weld it back on with a sleve? also from what i understand of the canisters role in life is to take out and equalise the pressure created by the pulses of the exhaust. as each pulse resonates at a set frequency. these canisters are designed to make that "noise" dissapear therefore quietening the note?? so by removing it the deeper untouched tone should come back

i posted this in another thread but i believe that by removing/ blocking off the seperate chamber you will gain more noise and tone.

so is there anyone else here who thinks that if you cut off/blanked off that little silencer chamber then you would find that sexy hiper noise in there? i believe its a resonance chamber or something. ohhhh i just had an idea??? a solanoid operated butterfly valve at the entrance to the chamber that could be remotely operated. silent for the old bill and the mot man then open to scare old ladies????? could be done me thinks.

Ok we are hoping and praying for better weather for this meet. also should have good light i hope too. The october meet was very good and bluewater is a great meeting place as there is lots of cover from rain plus there is a large choice of food and drink. I am suggesting that the meet take place on at 5pm or so as the shoppers will be cleared out by then. So people i can we start putting our names down? well i am a close friend of the daughter of Howard williams from Manfred Man. 5 4 3 2 1 fame, lol. i go on little trips with them to their holidays homes in palm springs and spain n stuff, also has a way cool yaught moored up in portsmouth. altho it made me sea sick when we sailed to spain. He is a top bloke and loves his cars. even let me take out his new 911 convertible. silly man! He is a great buisiness man and we are going to go into buisiness in a few years together when i have settled down enuf. Also met chris eubank outside parliment near work the other week, very nice guy, said hi and was realy friendly asking how we all are etc. Had the pleasure of scaring the **** out of dermot oleary (big brother presentor) a few years back when i was being filmed for big breakfast about Downhill MTB racing. he was standing in between a set of doubles (twin ramps with a gap between) and was filming away when i jumped over the top of him and missed his head by 10cm, looked so good on film. he just fell to the floor and was a right little sissy. he annoyed the hell out of everyone including the crew. loves himself so so much. so we spent the day taking the ***** out of him. Also threw a waterbottle at "Dean Gafney" (robbie from eastenders) when he made a "Guest" appearance at a club. kinda started a riot tho as everyone else started throwing stuff at him and he was evacuated. I hate minor celebs, pointless waste of time me thinks. anyway, celebs are just people in my opinion and are just as vunerable as us to attack, lol. Also have been on a few nights out with Lee from the band blue. he is a top bloke. was in the paper not long ago from when he invited us to the concert in brighton, we went to the after show party at the hotel and the manager was giving us hastle so lee decided it was time to spray her with the fire extinguisher, her face was a picture. He was also given a brand new BMW M3 convertible by bmw! and got £1million from pepsi for being a Pepsi person which he spent £900,000 on a kick ***** flat in london. I wanna be a celeb now!
