Just gone gold, next stage is to get the shocks and have them fitted. does the edfc unit fit nicely under the t/c and heat seat unit or do most people tend to have the box hidden to stop the muppets from getting tempted to break into the car and steel it ?

all i need to do is find a good garage in east yorks, or its a trip down south

what sort of price would you expect to pay for a full geometry to done, i suppose i could get it done at the same time. the type flex seems to getting a lot of praise, i think you guys have probably solved my dilema. first stage is to get some cash sorted and to go gold.

lee_iceman, is yours the type flex setup ? do you notice anything like knocking ? just that i've seen a few post that report knocking on the tein systems. I dont think i'll be on the track much, maybe once in a blue moon. i just like being fancy and having extra toys to mess about with :-) Suppose i better go gold before getting anything installed.

Whats recommended for brake pads ? mine are about dead so i'm looking at replacing them with either the trd or mintex pads. matts skyline bbk might also be on the cards, however as my is200 is stock it maybe overkill or future proofing. and yes i do realise i've spelt brake on the topic :duh:

Has anyone fitted the prolex aux-in converter with a nokia kit ? just that i have a nokia kit and would like to use it and the sensible option appears to be the aux in solution. is the installation fairly straight forward ? i've installed car kits before on standard radios, is there any thing that would complicate the matter ?

What make is that head's up ? i gave up hope of getting one ages ago as i couldn't find any that didnt use a foil strip on window. ps. nice kit.

Whats the going rate these days for alloys pedals ? i have set i'm considering putting on ebay. cant remember if i have the dead pedal or not, and i aint going to the shed at this point in time as its snowing and rather cold.

one of my friends does the old parking across two bays trick, it seems to work. i've also noticed how people with small cars seem to find parking hard, as they never seem to be parked properly. i avoid those space like the plague. gonna get a quote after next week, and then decide what to do. i'm hoping the bumper will t-cut out.

After a fairly cruddy ending to last week, and again a fairly cruddy opening to this week, i'm not a happy bunny so to speak. I tend to go training in the local sports centre every tuesday for the past 5yrs, however this year it appears that lex was marked. I parked up as normal, and gave the cars next to me a fair amount of space, like being able to open the doors fully type of space. So i trundled off happily, only to return to find that the muppet in the red mondeo next to me need a mile of parking space to reverse out their cr*p. They left no note saying sorry, or sorry please contact me. The sports centre's camera wasnt pointing in my cars direction either, so the cctv footage is useless, and i cant claim as i will lose my no claim. pants. in short el_gencer rather :tsktsk: i mean what is it with people ? the last time this happend i was in the car park at the cinema waiting for my friends so that one got sorted. this one however is just plain annoying. i'm gonna buy a big toyota hilux surf and park like a tw*t, its pretty much indestructable and muppets wont be able damage it and lex can rest safely at home. oh, before i forget. any idea how much it will cost to sort it out ?

I can highly recommend these tyres as i am currently running these. however mine werent as cheap :( Grip compared the dunlops in the wet is more than noticable, its takes a lot to upset them, grip in the dry is even better, no idea about snow was on hols at the time so cant comment.

going to vegas for gambling, in that case i suggest the viper. with that much power who knows where it will go or how long the fuel and tyres will last.

I have a pioneer and have no troubles with it at all. mines a few models down mind you. 430 something or another, cant remember at the moment. The pioneer has a good range of options to mess about with for recording quality and the dvd playback is spot on. Your best bet is to stroll into your local hi-fi store and mess about with them, i'm sure there wont be much difference between the two when put side to side.

i'd be interested but only in the new year and if fitting is thrown in or done at a discount rate. i do it myself but would end up supercharing the front radiator by mistake or something equally as dumb ;-)

was at police station the other week. no i hadnt been arrested, i was working there. noticed a few lexi in the compound. they do however seem to have a lot of hondas, i cant think why. i wonder where the honda factory is ?

3yrs is up for me, and i have no idea what to do, hence the poll. I cant seem to make my mind up about what to do. That and i kinda out did myself by getting a lexus in the first place, i mean where do you go from there ? Any other suggestions will be taken on board. Hey i like my laserdisc. i even have a player that uses a form of records to store films on it. ced player i believe. I think a lot of plasma owners are going to be upset with hdtv, as quite a few only go up to 1024x768 and dont have dvi or hdcp in. i'm currently messing around with converters and am looking at another one thats made in germany that converts the signal to vga. need to get some pennies first though. when i get it i'll post the results. this hdtv stuff aint as straight cut as it should be.
