  1. is this a UK Supra or an import? What do you mean by 'upgrade', how much power do you want?
  2. is this it? I have some £5 each + postage. They are around £30 new from a dealer.
  3. wasn't there a TV show that transmitted a game/program at the end, you had to record the audio and then play it into the computer.
  4. Yes midi built in. They were also cheaper than the Amiga but graphics weren't quite as good nor was the sound.
  5. No mention of the Atari ST, anybody have that? I grew up with ZX81 > Spectrum > QL > Atari ST > Amiga > Various PCs and Macs.
  6. I agree 18" should be fine with the correct offset. I'm not sure 18" were a factory option, more of a Lexus GB option. They do the same on the GS sport and don't alter the geometry to take into account the wheel differences
  7. 3. Yes they just unscrew. New one from dealer is around £30. 5. Sony are not original 6. If it is coming from the pedal then lube should do the trick. If it is coming from the clutch....
  8. I've been told that older models can safely use the newer pink coolant. You should see a cost saving over a few years by using the pink and also better for the environment. If you get your vehicle serviced by a dealer just make sure they don't follow the standard coolant replacement intervals.
  9. can you identify where the wind noise comes from. I hope the windscreen is fitted correctly. Do you know if the tyres are a different make/model compared to your old vehicle?
  10. To achieve economy and emissions modern engines are using higher and higher compression ratios making it almost impossible to have non-interference.
  11. Hi, welcome to LOC. I would ask your question on the US forums, more RX owners there. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/
  12. Actually 3 different types, Red, Green and Pink. They have different lifespans. Pink is the latest and I thought installed from around 2005 onwards. This lasts 60,000 to 100,000 miles depending on country.
  13. You can just use adobe camera raw to do basic workflow of RAW images. I hardly ever use Photoshop as I don't tend to do pixel editing. It you just want to make global adjustments to exposure, colour, white balance, contrast, saturation, cropping, highlight recovery etc. then Apple Aperture or Adobe Lightroom are excellent programs, especially if you take a lot of pictures because they help you manage and block adjust batches of photos. Both of those are available to download as a free trial (Aperture is Mac only) so you can try them out.
  14. You need to add some +ve exposure compensation (+2 maybe) with bright scenes like snow otherwise the snow comes out a bit grey as in your examples.

  16. and you can't on the first press? Are your deadlocks working?
  17. you will at some point but it in reverse when you didn't mean to and be glad the beeping sound is there. 1st and reverse are close together. You can set the light to come on when the door opens
  18. are you sure it removes the deadlock. Have you tried opening from the interior handle? You may just hear the locks trying to lock again.
  19. until 2001 models the deadlocks were always active and the second press turned off the interior motion sensor. From 2001 onwards the second press was needed to deadlock the doors and some complex procedure is needed to disable the interior sensors so the easiest way is just to lock the door with the key if you have somebody/thing in the vehicle which would set the alarm off.
  20. Hi Ian. Welcome to LOC Not 100% sure this is correct but the wheel will have a spline fitting. You will probably have to use a puller to get the wheel of the shaft after undoing the nut. There should be plastic trim pieces around the indicator/wiper sticks. Those trim pieces should pop off and inside you should see screws to remove the front. It is recommended to remove the battery beforehand, especially if you have an airbag.
  21. worth jacking up each wheel and making sure it spins freely to rule out brake binding. Are the tyres rotating in the correct direction?
  22. how about using some circlip pliers or some long nosed pliers at the ends? Nothing like using the right tool for the job :D
