  1. it's easier on the IS, well at least no more difficult.
  2. did they tell you what the error code was? Make sure the petrol cap it tight - you should hear 2 or 3 clicks to know it's tight enough.
  3. Raz I suggest you read the forums T&C. Putting ***s in the middle of words to deceive our profanity filter is against the rules.
  4. Exhaust should last 10 years+, most dealers have never changed one on an LS unless it has been physically damaged.
  5. Welcome to LOC I would recommend you post your question on the US forums, the RX 300 didn't appear in the UK until 2001 and the climate operation may be different between the US and the UK. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/
  6. Yes I meant on the series II. lexvirgin didn't state which unfortunately.
  7. I should have said GB rather than UK. Lexus GB vehicles are 10k intervals, I guess NI are under the control of Lexus Ireland?
  8. I noticed mine was at minimum the other day, not had time to look into it further but I will start with the radiator cap and look for any leaks around the engine bay.
  9. 802.11g is only 54Mbps, there is no 108 standard yet. 802.11n will be out next year which will be high speed (something like 100 - 300 Mbps). Although 802.11g is 54Mbps the actual throughput is around 22Mbps so your 108 connection may give around 44Mbps in real life. Your download speed of only 100Kbps doesn't sound right. Although the wireless connection will add a little latency you shouldn't really see a differnce with Broadband speeds. I get around 200Kbps download speed using either my 54Mbps wireless or a 100Mbps fixed connection. Possibly you have interference from other wireless devices, try changing the channnels being used.
  10. they should just fix the bugs in the software rather than keep messing with the user interface (poor though it is).
  11. service intervals vary country to country. In the UK the interval is every 10k miles, intermediate then full cycle.
  12. There shouldn't be much difference if both vehicles are the same series (e.g. series III). There will be a few differences, e.g. daylight running lights on the US vehicle but most things will be the same including the wire colourings.
  13. oil is expensive from dealers, however as they use their own oil prices do vary. The best solution is to supply your own oil. £50 to diagnose a coil pack I guess is 1/2 hour labour which is probably the minimum chargable amount of time.
  14. 400h is 7.6s 0-100Km/h and most tests have it faster than that.
  15. yes agents do it all the time, either inflate the salary to get more applications or make up jobs to get you on their books.
  16. I wouldn't imagine it's anything to do with the sat nav. Sat nav is located in the boot
  17. rx350 may not come out in this country, the RX330 never did. I would expect a new engine though , be it 3.5 or a new 3.0, and a 6 speed transmission.
  18. Don't think the IS200 ECU is programmable, you would need to purchase a new one.
  19. Welcome to LOC You may want to post your question on the US forums to avoid any English/America naming issues, you may also get advise where is the best place to purchase it from. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php
  20. you have to remove/pull away the front wheel arch lining, you can then access the bulb from behind.
  21. 8,5Jx18” for tyre size 245/40 R18 AM 28780 anthracite polished doesn't seem to be an anthracite 10" wide wheel on TTE web site, only silver. http://www.tte.de/alloy_wheels.htm
