  1. The camber spec is: Camber Min = -0 deg 51', Max = 0 deg 9' If you are nearer the min then you will get more wear than at the max.
  2. Sounds about right. Slows down the older/cheaper the car gets.
  3. The IS has a negative camber setting which will wear the inside more than the outside. I would only except a 1mm difference between the inside and the outside though. Any more and the wheels need to be properly aligned.
  4. Strange, Halfords haven't been doing it that long. SteveAudioX may know where to get one, drop him a PM
  5. Welcome to LOC John, Have a look here if you want to change your exhaust note: http://www.tte.de/tuning/website/CarModels...-lex-sc430.html Should be available from your Lexus dealer
  6. Matt, have you tried FTP via a browser? That may work better. I got to about 200MB on an http download and stopped it - seems to work fine.
  7. I'm testing BitTorrent from my PC, I'm getting 500kB/s throughput so the server is doing ok, most people will be limited to their Internet connection bandwidth.
  8. The bittorrent tracker on my server knows about the clients that are downloading the file. Once downloaded if you keep it open others can continue to download it from you.
  9. The ISO image either needs to be burnt to a DVD via Nero etc. or run an iso mounting application like alchol 120% or the free software that you can download from my page. Matt, I'm testing a http download from my PC at work - seems to be working so far. I would recommend people use BitTorrent as you can stop your download and carry on where you left off or recover from crashes etc.
  10. Download details now in GOLD: http://www.goldmembers.co.uk/loc/forums/in...t=ST&f=1&t=1144

  12. The IS200 front and rear brakes are the same as the ones fitted to the 279bhp GS430 so I cannot see any problems with them
  13. I'll keep it on my server for a few days - hopefully most people will download it, then you can host it Steve for future downloads?
  14. Okay, I've watched the program and it's recorded fine. I need to record it onto DVD and I'll then create an iso image and host it tomorrow morning. I will allow http, ftp and bit torrent downloads. Remember this going to be around 2GB so using a 512kb broadband connection is going to take 10+ hours to download. I would recommend using bit torrent as it can recover and carry on where it left off if any errors occur. I'll also try lowering the quality to reduce the filesize if people request it.
  15. Cannot always tell. If you are doing short journeys then moisture will form on the inside of the filler cap and will mix with the oil to form a nice light brown cream. If you have gas escaping from the cylinders into the cooland then the coolant will get very hot. Keep an eye on the temp gauge, you could do big damage to the engine if it overheats.
  16. can do. What size do people want to download?
  17. I don't think all dealers will supply TTE parts. It is not an official Lexus accessory/option so they don't have to.
  18. The 320 hasn't been a 2.0 for a while. It's a 2.2 6 cylinder. The 318 is the 2.0l 4 cylinder. They did have an old 6 cylinder 2.0l that they used for years. Trouble is small 6 cylinder engines have poor low down torque which all IS owners know about.
  19. I'm not fooling for the old 'hope it's not a .....' trick. You just want to be the only one with a turbo whistle :P I'd want two anyway - make people think I have a twin turbo ;) No it's nothing for the Lex. Looking at a new watch.
  20. I've brought things in the US with paypal too with no problems. He does take paypal from within the US and has a 3000+ ebay rating (99.9% positive).
  21. Maybe I'll get my next car north of the border then because the difference between trade-in and forecourt prices where I am is around £4 or £5k. £1k to recondition the car, another £1k to lower the price after a month or two if no sale and another £500 to knock off with no part ex. That still gives the dealer £1.5 - £2.5k
  22. Has anybody used Bidpay for ebay payments in the US? The seller won't take PayPal from international buyers only Bidpay which is Western Union's auction payments. Not sure if it offers the buyer any protection, or do you just rely on your credit card protection?
