  1. That is indeed ! The car was originally advertised for £3995 or £3500 - I must say he's taking unusually long to shift this one. The wheels are original Lexus DHP 17 inch
  2. I bought my 430 through the forum unseen - it was delivered by the forum member. I would of bought yours if I was in the market for one - From your posts I know it has bee looked after and it was very reasonably priced.
  3. HI It seems it is happening alot - here is a link to a recent discussion:
  4. Could be - I don't recall seeing anything higher mileage - still looks very tidy - and im sure she'll do many more with regular and some preventative maintenance
  5. Noticed this whilst browsing - not exactly immaculate and high mileage aswell - why are they selling it through their dealership: Used Lexus LS 600h L 5.0 4dr CVT Auto Dark Blue Mica for sale in Lexus Nottingham | Inchcape
  6. I googled my 430 key number "Denso 12BZF" and it cam as 433Mhz - so you might be right
  7. Thats a very reasonable price - perhaps many people don't knpw about this particualr auction house. I was was actually watching a video of this auction (youtube channle salvage rebuilds) and I was sure I spotted this car parked up - but didn't follows it up car can bee seen at 3:38
  8. I've based my decision on a) forum member reccomendation b) info provided on website lets see . . .
  9. I'm not happy with Textar - lots of brake dust and the shhh sound - I have already bought a set of EBC Ultimax 2 - £24 inc delivery direct from them Pagid are good - I heard porsche use them
  10. Silver does suit these cars very well, it doesn't age and hides dirt and imperfections very well. My previous 430 was a silver and sometimes I do want one - my current is grey and becomes dirty very quickley
  11. As above also check: a) Petrol cap is tight b) Check around air filter and housing to ensure nothing is loose. I've had this twice, first was upstream oxygen sensor, 2nd was loose clamp on air intake
  12. It's been on sale for alot longer than others aswell - I'm sure it's more than 6 months
  13. Hi Ross in the LS430 there is a seperate fuse for the amplifier located in the drivers side footwell - maybe you need to double check the fuses to ensure no blown fuse specifically for the amp. The fuse is easily blown when taking out the head unit without disconnecting the battery - as I found out
  14. So are we saying the fault is still there - just dont gove 5k rpm and it won't give you any issues? - if it still there how can it be fixed - new sensor?
  15. You can go on Auto Trader and do a free valuation aswell.
  16. I was going to suggest selling it and also valued it as above - aswell as the slightly lower valuation I also noticed AT is showing it as F Sport - so my hunch is the dealer has entered the reg into AT and used their pre-filled template. There is no harm in writing to the dealer with your reasoning and see what they say? Did they even make an F Sport in this particular year?
  17. sounds like not quite a time-warp - and certainly not as good as yours? - is it still as good ?
