  1. Hi I would be very surprised if they are different Plenty of LS owners (including me) have bought from ebay and have not had any issues. Go for the autodoc ones
  2. I would concure with Steve I remember unplugging the amplifier on my 430 and it blew the fuse and I never thought of the fuse and drove around for months without music lol
  3. I'n not certain what is the truth here: A mechanic local to me would'nt an aftermarket sensor to my previous one because of the reason you have mentioned above. The previous owner of my current 430 fitted a cheap sensor and it has worked fine. I have read that some code reading machines upset the Lexus electrics causing the EML to come on - whch could be the problem as opposed to the actual part.
  4. Maybe try some leather feed which may make the leather supple and the creases may go?
  5. My driving is always short local runs and my 430 never fails to start - even lately when we had sub zero temperatures in the morning. My current battery which came with the car when I bought the car is a non-brand (no markings) and I have not had any problems this being the second winter with this car. On my previous LS430 I fitted an Exide battery which came with 4 years warranty - I had no problems with that for the 2 odd years I had it. You could possibly switch off the keyless entry function which could help. Othrwise follows johns advice above.
  6. 2009 Blue Lexus LS 600h 5.0 L CVT 4WD 4dr for sale for £24,950 in NEW SOUTHGATE, BOROUGH OF BARNET (autotrader.co.uk)
  7. yes - prices for the mark 4 were slowly getting close to the 10k mark - now they are around 16/17k! I would want a white or silver one with cream leather with ideally under 100k miles
  8. a how to here - but you do lose AM setting: How To: Build and Hardwire an Auxillary Input to OEM Stereo - Page 52 - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
  9. Agreed - I noticed that aswell. The leather in my opinion is the result of not using leather feed - it has dried out causing the scabiness.
  10. The aux input has definatey been done: Factory Radio Service aux-in on 2000 LS400 - Page 3 - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion It also mentions some sort of isolator to get rid of hiss
  11. probably explain why this year my renewal was £4 less - previously it has always gone up
  12. This was recently uploaded to Youtube - I check online everyday but I never saw this for sale:
  13. This series of videos is very informative and intresting - in one of the videos he does exactly what you asking about - watch the full series
  14. I look forward to your post as I will probably do mine again in the summer
  15. Hi I had this problem on my 430 - I purchased new bulbs bu that mae no difference - turned out to be the ballast - IIRS your car Xenons - could this be the ballast? On the 430 the ballast is secured to the under side of the headlight hope this helps
  16. IIRC an ES owner had this problem and was told it was the system updating over air? could this apply here?
  17. Hi I would (a) Get the battery checked - a failing battery can cause this (b) check nothing metalic is in the armrest like keys or loose change hope this helps
