  5. Just be easy on the gear changing after you have a new clutch install. Let it settle for few couple miles or you'll end up back to the PIT stop . same theory when you have your brake disc/pads install . Just remind the mechanic to be generous apply extra grease on the gear shift mechanism (clutch fork) mine clutch pedal has developed a squeak sounds when the pedal is press and can't do anything about it from outside (have to take out the whole thing apart :tsktsk: :tsktsk: )
  6. there's many video clip instruction show u how is done (you tube)... pretty much straight forward :zee: http://youtu.be/ej1Sc01K1AU
  7. I had my clutch kit install a year ago. started having whining noise from the bearing release. Not much luck on my side will have to live with it until next clutch replace. Not a mechanic myself so can't give much comment on this. As long it's install by a professional mechanics i'm sure you have parts/service warranty :zee:
  8. If not mistaken there's a Gold member here selling a turbo kit. Not sure if it's still available or the spec you looking

  10. it's easy say then done. BUT how about:- - budget = how much willing to spent? ( + when mod gone wrong) - wiring = connecting and rewiring? - spec requirement = sat nav, apps, loading time, firmware update, av input, mpeg player and so on and on the list .... - reliability = does it reliable? - did plan to use an android but the start up is waaaaaaaaaaaaay :tsktsk: :tsktsk: too long to load up and no signal after boot up - install a video screen for reverse parking but now i want a touch screen that does everything - 7inch is much better than 4.3 TOP 1# FAIL = "Dude wtf is that thing mount on the dash?" (Troll on board) Just a small list that i've ask myself when i did my satnav mod. :zee:

    Hi

Hello welcome to the club :zee:
  13. Would go ahead replace a aftermarket stereo as all the re-wiring already done for you.
  14. They have a great restaurant inside the museum. Mike thanks :winky:
  15. It would be refering to the Fiat Stilo ( item number 20094225361 on fleabay)... just made a base and it sit perfectly under the compartment base and no extra drill hole need to be made as it just use the origin screw hole.
  16. have you bought the RAD you gonna replace?? just wanna know where you bought it thanks
  17. Just remember one thing. Not familiar at local area but is there any nice food place around "recommended"??
  18. Just easy on the pedal not much different if it's ON or OFF
  19. You can see there's a square marking on the transponder if you press and hold down see if its open then you can go ahead cut off the plastic and replace the new rubber key pad. get a replacement key made it might open the the boots look manually. read some where that "grind" (no sure the right words ) the tip of the valet key making it thinner should do the trick as well the dash glove lock compartment . it's a big risk you might damaged your "only" key that's y u really need to get a spare key sorted first. if you Google it. mostly you'll get the answer "you can't program a new key without the master key" unless you go to the dealer with a big wallet cash in hand. Excellent choice going to WIM this w.e . you feel the difference when you get back you car.
  20. might be just the belt need tighten or changed.
