  1. Oh my, what a day! For anyone else reading this, there is a manual handbrake release mechanism in the boot of the car.
  2. Molten Pearl - 2016 - ML - Black Interior Doesn't have a sunroof
  3. Thanks guys, hopefully some sort of remedy will be found in due course. I'll keep looking.
  4. Hi guys, I've been having some issues with Bluetooth Metadeta not being updated when changing tracks whilst using Spotify. This could possibly be a Spotify issue from what I've been reading online. I did however wonder if there were any software updates for the Multimedia system. Mine currently says: Model ID: 15LWENEU-BB01 Hard: 86130-30G50 Navigation: VC83100H Does anybody know? Thanks
  5. I think the exhaust tips should have been a bit bigger so that the muffler doesn't show as much or the muffler could have been coated in black. Sometimes alloy wheels appear dull in pictures, it could be one of those instances.
  6. This is a bit of a subjective area but good to know you are enjoying the F! Good shout Cylinder deactivation when cruising and 8 speed transmission. Only driven it once and thoroughly enjoyed. Good luck!
  7. As you've already owned a 4th Generation GS, maybe the RCF will give you more of that 'new car' feel. However, the interior of the RCF might appear a bit basic to you in comparison to the 4th Generation GS. I don't think either is suitable as a long distance cruiser unless you live somewhere with really nice roads. The fuel tanks are a bit small too at 65 litres.
  8. You'll need to squeeze the plastic clips you see in that area which I've circled below with pliers to remove the panel on the exterior of the boot (the one that has the boot release button and the number plate lights). It might not be obvious but it is a part that can be removed. Removing it will expose the bolts for the rear camera. Those two black plastic covers you are referring to are where the bolts holding the camera get secured into.
  9. My bad, do we know if the AA on 2020 models is wireless or wired only? Thank you

  11. Hydro-locked engines are an insurance matter. The warranty is void the moment water enters your engine; It wouldn't have helped in this case.
  12. Don't worry, you will get your payout from the insurance company. Just be careful around water next time.
  13. Thanks Colin, I subscribed and found the relevant info. The following steps need to be followed to access the camera after removing the boot liner. This may help someone in the future.
  14. Hi folks, I am trying to remove the reverse camera on my car and can't really figure out how to do this. I have removed the trunk lining and can see the camera. Does anyone have any ideas or Is there some sort of resource I can buy online to access such information. Thanks
  15. Gentlemen, I really value the contribution you guys have made to this thread. I should have said that although I still have the exhaust in possession, it is no longer on my car as I intend to return it. I've been a bit occupied and haven't had a chance to research courier options. I am not stranded as I have other cars and as such I don't need to make an effort to work with this. I'll just return it and try something else.
  16. Gentlemen, luckily I have got a picture of the exhaust as delivered for those of you who wanted to know about this.
  17. Gentlemen, thank you for your comments. A specialist (Mr Exhaust in Reigate) has confirmed that the exhaust is fitted correctly and this is a manufacturing issue. It will need modification to make it straight. I've been quoted circa £250 to do this and it will come with a 2 year guarantee. Although I don't mind the additional cost to fix this, I am a bit annoyed with the seller and will want to return. I've parked the car up now and will be looking at other options.
  18. The original hangers are being used. I'll try a shorter hangar on the drivers side but I a bit sceptical. The amount of correction needed is way too high. Hey michael, I am with you on this. Reinstalling the lexus exhaust is no longer an option but I don't think this will stay on very long either.
  19. Just reporting back that the exhaust is quiet and well made, however the fitting is poor on mine.
  20. Many thanks Mike. I've ordered it and will report back once fitted.
  21. Great thanks Could you please post a picture to show fitting. I've had poor experience in the past with welding the exhaust (on two different cars). It's more of a temporary fix in my view. The backbox on the driver side is definitely leaking but there could be multiple leaks. I will get the exhaust checked in more detail. Thanks
  22. Hello folks, I've got a blowing exhaust and am looking at my options. Has anyone bought this and has any comments on quality, noise and fitment: Link 26 of them have been sold so far in a 4 month period!
  23. The battery may have enough juice to power the electrics but it won't start the car if one of the cells has gone bad. Try jump starting the car.
  24. Check your fuel tank cap. If it's loose, it will be tripping sensors. If it's not that, it still probably is a malfunctioning sensor ( o2 sensor most probably) OBD2 readers are quite cheap and you should buy one to retrieve the code.
