  1. So, after testing what do you think?
  2. I had a GS 300h and , compared to previous version of GS 450h , it was superior in all sides excepts than for engine: that does not mean that it was not good, simply 450h V6 was very fast.
  3. It could be a "trick" that many car producers have (AFAIK all of them), to reset Odometer value to 0 after factory testing and transportation so to give to customer a car with "0" miles; probably Lexus max pre-delivery mileage setting is 37. Of course nobody can modify mileage over this initial maximum level, and if someone does it in any moment the real mileage is always readable by Lexus tha knows where in memory data are located.
  4. P0420 17 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) - With Engine Warm & Driven at 20-50 MPH for 5 Minutes, Heated Oxygen Sensors Have Same Wave Patterns (Cam.) P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) Needed more investigation...
  5. If many errors appear at the same time you should first verify the 12V battery as it could be at the end of its long life.
  6. Probably not so many , but just because I owned korean cars before landing to Lexus peace of mind. 😇
  7. I begin to suspect that age of LOC members is rather high. 😁
  8. You can let sytem decide proper vent speed, but it may be a useful help to have air conditioner ON for battery and your wellness 😉
  9. AFAIK it's not for all models: "The new multimedia software upgrade* includes smartphone integration for your ES, NX or UX. Contact your nearest Lexus retailer to check whether the software upgrade is available for your car."
  10. Not for your RX, but this link can be useful for other users: home (lexus.com)
  11. You have to reset windows position pressing button till total opening and keeping it for few seconds.
  12. About registration, of course you can do by yourself, but usually dealer can help you making it and and at the same time verifying and abilitating services available on newer models.
  13. Another suggestion is keeping your remote key far away from car, as when in proximity the system is engaged and some current flows from 12 V battery, discharging it.
  14. You can force ICE starting pressing pedal after entering ready state.
  15. EV mode is not a permanent state, and it has not to be used excepts for necessity as it discharge rapidly HV battery, you have to let it charge, mainly during regenerative braking, and then you will notice EV working when re-accelerating while driving at low speed keeping power indicator in ECO zone. Let the HSD system decide and initially you can have better results in ECO mode, when you will be more accustomed to hybrid driving you will be able to have EV also in Normal or Sport mode (but always at low speeds and with a light pressure on pedal).
  16. Uhm, it's a trick, they exclude some items that may have problems more than other ones, and if somethng electronics has to be changed they may change wirings too charging the expenses on that. 🤨
  17. I had same problem and to solved it changing my login credentials with shorter ones on portal 😁. But if I remeber well there is another more elegant solution: the easier way is to ask your Lexus dealer to make registration.with right credentials.
  18. Are you sure is it coming from cup holder? I seldom notice a creaking noise but it comes from the elbow support little drawer. Ho to eliminate it? I don't know 😄
  19. AFAIK, idle check is a routine that verifies and corrects rpm during idle state of thermal engine.
  20. You can download instructions about it at developers site. About your question about S1A etc. they are different phases occurring during thermal engine warming and functioning, they are widely discussed in italian Hybrid Synergy Forum. Anyway, give a look to official Hybrid Assistant site: Hybrid Assistant: Documentation
  21. On my RX it works well, it engages after keeping brake pedal for 2 seconds at car stopped, and disengages just pressing right pedal to start moving, but I do not use it all the times, just when I have to keep car stopped much time, for stop and go situations I prefer keeping brakes by myself, just because I like the eCVT system that strart moving smoothly car just leaving brakes without "jumps".
  22. Difficult to say, it could be a simple solution with a reset or a defect in some component; if it is a more serious problem better going to a Lexus official garage.
