  1. Do search for wheel repair or refinish. Curb can be repaired, no need to buy a new rim. If it is just curb rash, then it is merely a cosmetic issue. By the way, check if you have a full size spare wheel in your trunk. If that one is nicer than you can just exchange your current wheel for your spare one.
  2. The RX330 as sold in the US, is produced in Canada. Since the US style of driving is a bit different compared to Europe and Japan, US people want more torque and that why it has a slightly bigger engine. The 3.0L and 3.3L engines are very alike, but some people that have driven both the RX330 US version and the RX300 European version, commented that the RX300 is more sporty and the 3.0L is more responsive than the 3.3L.
  3. dunno what the official regulations in the UK are, but on the mainland, self levelling and washers are only required for factory installed HID kits. Aftermarket kits are only only tested on the light output and direction, and the color of the light.
  4. I believe that if the HIDs are installed properly, and the bulbs are 4300K (yellow white/ daylight) or 6000K (ultrawhite), then there is no problem. However, if you want to be RICE, and install 8000K or higher (blueish) then you will have problems.
  5. calipers are the same, but mounting is different. So you can use the same rotors and brake pads, but the calipers are not interchangeable. The Supra MK4 front calipers and the Aristo calipers are the same.
  6. Errrr... what Dave probably means is: Bilstein coilovers for the GS300/400/430, which are height adjustable (like all coilovers), but this set cannot be adjusted for stiffness
  7. The 2ndGen GS300, GS400, and GS430 can use the same suspension parts. Also the Aristo MK2 parts are interchangeable. However, there are different type of parts available. Some come with sport suspension and some not.
  8. I dunno about the work ... but guess it would be much cheaper just to buy an Aristo TT and sell your current car ...
  9. What do you want ... The Soarer 2.5L Twinturbo front cut The Aristo MK1 3.0L Twinturbo front cut The Aristo MK2 3.0L Twinturbo front cut All have officially 280hp, but have quite different in real life ;)
  10. I saw some front cuts which have most of the required parts to do a successful conversion... Aristo JZS147 3.0L Twin Turbo + ECU+ transmission Soarer 2.5L Twin Turbo +ECU+ transmission Who wants to beat Mr. C
  11. The US settings are likely different optimized, since the US IS300 is different tuned than the Euro ones. Also, in the US they use crappy gas ...
  12. The UCF30 calipers are approx. 3.7kg without the brackets/4kg with the brackets. I guess that the Supra 4-pot calipers are 6kg
  13. outside/ inside wear of tyres ... I would inflate my tires a little more, even though it may be out of the general Lexus spec
  14. Get one of the new Canon cameras. 7MP and more !
  15. This kit was a custom-made kit consists of LS430 calipers that have been painted red, custom brackets, pads, GS brakelines, Supra TT rotors. It should bold on a Supra IV, but cannot use the 310mm rotors, unless different brackets are used. But why should you? If you have the Supra 4-pot caliper, then you have 324mm rotors, and then it will fit.
  16. What tyre pressure are you running? Also try to change to a different tyre make... bridgestone is not famous for its treadlife ...
  17. their site looks like an assortment of knockoffs ... at least some of those are replicas of Racing Hart wheels.... Probably their quality is not bad, but I should ask around ...
  18. Yes, of course. But there are also shops in the US which offer pretuned emanages. But they won't be pre-programmed for Euro spec cars. and also not for JDM spec cars ... like Mr. Singh's Altezza ...
  19. No it's 8P8 the same as mine. Called Canterbury blue in the UK Then we have the .... LOC TWINS ... lol very nice color ... and less prone to swirls B)
  20. Also notice your question on the emanage system. I would recommend you to get a system that has the config for the Blitz SC....
  21. Did you already order the ECU? Unlike most European makes, you can easily swap your current Altezza ECU with another ECU.
  22. try to trade it with someone who loves it...
  23. Great car ... Now I am jealous ... Is yours a blackonyx 202? These looks great, but do not forget to wax it ...
  24. Next time also try to change to a different brake pad manufacturer, certain combinations are less likely to warp...
