  1. That's one of the reasons that Lexus is not doing that well in Europe. There is just not enough choice to keep current customers within the brand. Not enough engine choice (especially no Diesel), aging current model range (when was the last time a new Lexus came out), ... There is a lot to do by Lexus in Europe ...
  2. The Prolex STB will fit the NA, and this is the stb with the best clearance. But i am not sure if it still fits after you have installed a S/C.
  3. This the car of one of HK Aristo friends. These are 19" Connoisseur rims from Japan.
  4. The R32 is based on the Golf IV platform. I would go for a Golf V GTI... If i would compare the Audi S3 vs. the R32, i would go for the R32. The S3 is basically a 4WD Golf Gti IV using a tuned 1.8T 4Cylinder engine, while the R32 has a 3.2L V6.
  5. I suspect that the additional lines are extension cords :winky:
  6. Normally, rear pads/rotors will last 2-3 times longer than the front pads/rotors. Most of the braking (around 80%) is done by the front brakes.
  7. A few days ago I saw a RAV4 with the 17" GS chrome wheels ... looked soooo good B)
  8. The ARS is known to cause these problems. This problem only occurs on the Aristo TT. Perhaps it is worth to get the ARS Cancellor from Toms.
  9. Perhaps it's worth the try to exchange the standard 10A fuse with a 15A :winky:
  10. The first pic Matt has posted is the MK1. The second one is a GS MK2 pre2001. The 2001+ has a chrome shifter bezel and chromed gauge rings
  11. you mean that the lights just don't lit up? And never did?
  12. From Scorpion's previous pics I can see that the Prolex ballasts are a 'powerpack', and do not require a seperate igniter. Also, most modern kits do not need relays for 9006, relays are only required for H4 hi/low kits. What i would do is: 1. take out the entire kit 2. check all the connectors between the HID bulb and the ballast 3. then plug the remaining connector of the HID bulb in the original 9006 headlight connector. If it does not work, sometimes the connector of the HID bulb is plugged in wrongly, take it out again and check if you not accidentally reversed the +/- of the bulb. By the way, are both your HID bulbs not working (likely faulty installation), or are they flickering (prob. faulty kit)?
  13. I don't think so. Most mechanical parts are the same, but the body definitely not.
  14. please post pics such that we can see what spoiler that is B)
  15. The standard Aristo rear lights have 2 bulbs at each side (top and bottom) where the GS300 only has 1 bulb.
  16. 95N plate... I think that is still the UCF11 or so... I would at least go for the UCF20 (produced from 96 - 00), or not switch at all...
  17. These bulbs are only a little 'whiter' than the oem bulbs. You can ask Scorpion to confirm, he used to have similar ones before he got the real thing. Note that a lot of these ebay stuff is made in China and may fail relatively soon, so I would go for some better makes... or better, go for the real HID kit.
  18. Welcome... For US specific information you can also visit our US forum us.lexusownersclub.com But please keep on visiting this forum as well... I will try to find some pics of RX parts in the coming days.
  19. I believe all these figures are a compromise. Every country and driver have their own style, and actual maintenance requirements depends on these factors, rather than what the manual says. That's why a lot of other cars, e.g. BMW, Mercedes, will let the car computer depend the service intervals. For instance, I have driven about 15K miles since I replaced the plugs and only recently replaced the plugs again (with Denso Iridium plugs). Car feels much more responsive/powerful than before.
  20. Cookiemonster... I am in HK, and probably can get the emblems cheaper for you. Send me a pm :)
