    take a photo of the message on the dash and email it to your dealer so there's a log of it happening whilst under warranty and get your car booked in for them to look at it, maybe contact lexus uk and inform them so they are also aware in case the dealer can't get your car booked in until after your warranty has expired you should still be covered then

    just searched Tony Banks exhausts and noticed he's in West Yorkshire if you kindly ask Dominic Cummings to take your car to Tony Banks i'm sure you'll be able to have your exhaust fitted no questions asked, if he wont take it i think you could possibly encounter issues with the distance travelled .

    i have been looking for a knackered 24ltr compressor so i can remotely add a tank onto my compressor to increase its capacity i'd probably locate it in the roof space of the garage, dont tell the missus and when she finds it tell her you've had it ages just like her new outfit you found in the wardrobe 🙂

    my advise would be " if your not happy doing something don't do it " if another member could clarify where the air intake is located this would be of great help for Rakesh i no longer have a ct so i cant check i will have a look at photos of my old ct to see if i can see intake location

    here is a link for the compressor https://www.aldi.co.uk/ferrex-2-5hp-air-compressor/p/705785387017900 for me i have space issue in the garage as i lost a chunk for a utility room so i cant have a compressor thats too big, with an output of 9.3cfm this will run most tools you'd need at home and 2.5hp motor it refills pretty quickly . its not for professional use as it would be charging up all day long but for home use its great.

    thats the one i have from Aldi the blue Ferrox i think it has a 25ltr tank its bloody noisy @ 98Db so i made an mdf enclosure and lined it with foam to sound proof it you can now talk whilst standing next to it when its running, i have a manifold on the wall where i have an airline and a wall mounted reel connected to it.

    you've done well James with that price of £768 if the head gasket set is £200 ,a skim £80, new head bolts £100 they havent charged much for labour dont forget you will have a 12month lexus guarantee on the work carried out as well for piece of mind. enjoy your car and give the engine bay a clean yourself you know its been done properly.

    if you have passengers getting in and out of the back seat regulary fluff off their clothes can enter the filter and if you have young children they may even post things through the slots what little darlings they can be

    you can have this alarm if someone nudges into you with either ignition on or off so i feel this is the case because the car knew you where stationary the popup hood failure message has come on the dash i had the same alarm when i was waiting in stationary traffic and a paramedic in a skoda rolled back into me no damage to my car not even a scratch i just had the message, if you have carista you can reset it from the app and save going to lexus

    there is a charge for the app here is a link https://caristaapp.com/pricing i'm lucky when the app 1st came out i bought a pro membership for less than £10 and i dont have to pay any other annual fees just my 1 off payment. for the hardware you can buy an ELM327 adapter v1.4 but i would ask the seller to confirm it will work with the carista app, some of the adpaters dont use all the protocols that carista needs to use.
