  1. You hang on in there buddie, you're special. :) Can we all have our time refunded. ID ten T.
  2. Takes all sorts. We're inclusive. Not all inclusive, that's different.
  3. That^^^^ and fine wire wool or a well used kitchen green pad. get on with it stop faffing.
  4. A drinking partner of mine had a resin concrete drive, it looked fabulous. Nice colour, nice pattern. Very pleased with it. Gas Board dug some of it up a few months later to fit a new supply pipe. He was very philosophical about it...
  5. Wasn't aware the 250 ate discs, I'm on 40,000 miles and still original discs and original front pads. Does it not depend on the style of driving? I'm a "take your foot off the accelerator" kind of guy, let the car slow down, rather than a pedal hopper.
  6. Is it the breather pipe from the rocker cover at the top of the engine? Quite normal. Fumes, including oil fumes, are scavenged from the top of the engine and burnt via the corrugated pipe (air inlet) you see in your picture.
  7. You're right, them squeaks do tend to drown out a V12 exhaust note.
  8. Toolstation do the cheapest I've ever found. I've used it on my door seals, keeps them nice and lubricated......and shiny. I'm not aware of a special one, but I'm sure someone with a slight adenoid problem will be along and suggest you need Formula 35 with fluoron emitters that doesn't degrade the seals, and is kind to the daffodil population. I made that up ^^^^^. http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p21983?table=no
  9. Post wherever you like mate, the mods will move it if it's an issue.
  10. I never look in my cars specific lounge, I click on "latest posts" and look at the overall input of all members. This allows me to wind up a larger and better cross section of people as possible.
  11. Just fit them, look nice, hope they work ok, no reason why they shouldn't. I'll order some more next week if they're up to scratch.
  12. This is the difference between the Valeo and the Denso, chalk and cheese. The Denso ones look nicely finished, just arrived.
  13. Cheers, I've used ECP hundreds of times and the code box is usually at the end of the transaction just before you pay.
  14. Just been on ECP to order the Denso wipers, I can't seem to find where to put the discount code. So looked on Carparts4less, the wipers are cheaper and there's a discount "bemine". £17.29 for both wipers. Ordered for delivery. Job jobbed.
  15. The Valeo ones I have are rubbish, they're just the skeleton, they even look ****.
  16. I don't think he's talking about the fixing Steve, although mine is also the hook, he asks about the plastic covering over the mechanism. I have some replacement blade ready to fit, they don't have the plastic covers and I don't know if the old covers can be removed, haven't had a look yet.
  17. How have you put it into auto? Stalk pushed up to top and then one notch down, then regulate the speed by turning the knob on the end of the stalk? Do you have a users manual?
  18. "Is it risky?" Really?....You need to ask? FFS......
  19. I'm forgetful, but I don't think it was me either.
  20. Looks like a lightening strike to me, seen lots of them. You've been lucky.
