    All the ones I have come across allow you to plug them into the cigarette lighter, it's just that you can permanently wire them into the cars system if you know what your doing via their usb lead, meaning they can be disconnected to view, download etc.

    Had a car camera for years, transferred it from my Alfa into the Lexus. Would not be happy driving without one, I have caught some hairy moments over the years, I really should post them on YouTube but invariably forget.

    I would start with the easy fix first. Check all brakes are not binding/calipers seized. Then check for any OBD codes.

    I agree with the second and third posters, Albert just posted a statement which I think was rather rude. What's wrong with using a few extra words that will make the statement into a question that we all understand and can then reply to? People need pulling up about their grammar and punctuation as well as their forum etiquette, don't you agree?

    I have the wrench in the third photo, you need the slots to engage the lugs, to take the housing off, to get to the filter. The first photo you show looks like it's for a canister type oil filter.

    And my story on Bank Holiday Monday.......I was preparing to pull out of a shopping complex into traffic, into a three lanes one way system so I had to turn right. An old bloke, at an opposite junction, in a turquoise Volvo pulled out into the three lanes and tootled off against the flow of traffic. I think I caught it on my dash cam. I dare not look as I drove off, he was heading for an accident. The poor drivers coming around that corner will have **** themselves.
