  1. Phew.....reaches for inhaler...... hope you get what you want. :luck: Mine is an Advance, heated not cooled seats. If they're cooled I certainly can't find a button.
  2. All the ones I have come across allow you to plug them into the cigarette lighter, it's just that you can permanently wire them into the cars system if you know what your doing via their usb lead, meaning they can be disconnected to view, download etc.
  3. This, http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/79329-heater-flashing-amber-on-startup-possible-cause/ As Normski says about the flap covering the pollen filter, read up and know what you're doing before you mess. Read this: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-2nd-gen-2006-2013/430853-how-do-you-change-the-cabin-filter.html#post4564169
  4. Had a car camera for years, transferred it from my Alfa into the Lexus. Would not be happy driving without one, I have caught some hairy moments over the years, I really should post them on YouTube but invariably forget.
  5. Have you had any work done on the car, removed radio, battery etc that may have disturbed something?
  6. If you put your registration mark into this website you will see. its ok, its a government website, nothing fishy. https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history And if that is your car in the picture it has done 239,000+ miles, absolutely amazing.
  7. Definitely worthy of a post. Try "sniff petrol" for car related pizz taking, it's quite good.
  8. Matt, you are aware that The Onion is a pizz taking/satirical publication?
  9. its been available for quite some time, as a beta service.
  10. Humberside police vehicle, crossing the Humber Bridge in the above picture. http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-news/humberside-police-take-lexus-is-f/
  11. I would start with the easy fix first. Check all brakes are not binding/calipers seized. Then check for any OBD codes.
  12. I agree with the second and third posters, Albert just posted a statement which I think was rather rude. What's wrong with using a few extra words that will make the statement into a question that we all understand and can then reply to? People need pulling up about their grammar and punctuation as well as their forum etiquette, don't you agree?
  13. £895.......wow........I would want a Veyron as a courtesy car at those prices. LOL.
  14. I think one of the rules is you have to be a grownup to post on the site and not throw your toys around, especially teddy bears;-)
  15. I have the wrench in the third photo, you need the slots to engage the lugs, to take the housing off, to get to the filter. The first photo you show looks like it's for a canister type oil filter.
  16. And my story on Bank Holiday Monday.......I was preparing to pull out of a shopping complex into traffic, into a three lanes one way system so I had to turn right. An old bloke, at an opposite junction, in a turquoise Volvo pulled out into the three lanes and tootled off against the flow of traffic. I think I caught it on my dash cam. I dare not look as I drove off, he was heading for an accident. The poor drivers coming around that corner will have **** themselves.
