  1. I also bought these on wish as well. Very comfortable and tucks nicely into my neck. They do them in black as well
  2. I got them on "wish". I don't know if you've heard of it. They are a chinese company. If you look on the site there'll be several selling at different prices. The only thing is the word Lexus only faces one way.
  3. Thanks. Yes they came with spacers and a full set of wheelnuts. Funny thing is the guy ordered them from Germany and on the day of fitting they didn't fit, they were hampered by the caliper. Obviously didn't get the offset right. Anyway a week later the correct ones turned up and all was ok. Your wheels look beaut! As you say a nice set of wheels can make such a difference.
  4. The wheels on my car were in desperate need of refurbishment and one leaked air so I looked into getting them done. I was looking at £500-£600 and although it would have kept it standard I opted, for around the same price to buy these instead, keeping as close as I could to the original style. I'm quite pleased with how they look and feel they make the car look a little more modern.
  5. I know about the chip catcher between the seat and console but I bought these as well.
  6. I thought my backup camera had failed as it was flickering and couldn't see an image. This evening I realised that although it still flickers there is a ghost image or a "negative" image. Weird!! I don't know if it is failing or there's some sort of setting for the camera. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Excuse me if someones already said this but I've looked at this without the benefit of my glasses. I understand that overtightening the wheel nuts can distort the discs....that's it, that's my penarth...good luck. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Funny you should say that I've got some satin black spray in the garage [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Ok, I've got busy with the copper pipe and stuff and thankfully - no more leaks. Thanks for all the very helpful information you gave I've not only save money doing the repair myself but it would have meant I'd have had to hire a car for the next couple of days as I have a 500 mile round trip starting tomorrow! It's not pretty but if it continues to hold I'm a happy bunny. [emoji106][emoji2936][emoji2935] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. So I'm guessing Find the right copper tube and some flexihose and clamps. Cut the failing tubing out and connect the new tubing into the existing flexihose and the new flexihose and clamp it all up. Top up the power steering and turn the steering left to right to bleed it through and remove any air. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Ah that's a great fix, thanks. I'll see if I can get that done. Is the system under pressure or anything? I don't want to make a start on it and it comes squirting out with a force. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Well I've done a bit of digging and it looks like I might have found the part number 44406 50220 Tube sub assembly return no1. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. I had to top up the power steering fluid the other day and when I moved the car to mow the lawn I've noticed some stains on the tarmac driveway. Didn't notice before as I always reverse into the same spot. Anyway on inspection it appears to be the metal tubing in front of the radiator is failing. (See photo's) I'm not sure what the part is called so I'm looking for either the name or part number. Your thoughts please... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. Thats seems like a good video. My 2000 ls430 cd player gave up the ghost a long time ago, then the tape player and the radio although the radio did play intermittently. I might just give this a go. Nothing to lose really [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just the battery needs replacing. With all the tech onboard they do like a good battery. Happened to me before, put a new one in and it all went back to normal. Borrow one maybe, just to try? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  16. Ah...hadn't realised it was a celsior [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  17. Look great. Should they 18's though? My "55" has 245 45 18. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. Left hand drive is ok when you get used to it. I've had a chevy dayvan daily driver and a 1955 Cadillac coupe de'ville. A bit hairy when you first start driving them but you soon adapt. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. Ooh I'd have it! Get rid of that t.v though and replace it with drop downs. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. Very interested to know why a celsior and not a lexus? I know there are few differences but what is it that makes you choose this way? Is it that the imports are lower mileage? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. Yes of course it's salvageable. It's just whether you want to spend more on it than it would cost to buy a decent one. Looking at it objectively: F/door, r/door, r/wing, r/ bumper, wheels,4 tyres, brakes, brake discs, exhaust system, fuel lines, fuel tank, rear window, interior, keys, radiator, hoses, aircon, paint, battery and who knows what amount of electricals. I just don't see a future for it except as a donor car... possibly. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. Nice car Paul and 70000 miles is really good. I've got two at the moment as one was damaged but is being repaired at the moment. ( couldn't wait so bought a second one). I hadn't known that there was a roof rack a available for the Lexus. Probably only my opinion but for me it's like having a roof rack on a rolls royce. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
