    Absolutely, I had the same thing with my Isf, most people think they are Hybrid or diesel.

    As you already know, its nothing for a looked after modern engine, some of the taxi guys are running cars to 250--300k on basic servicing without problems, I am sure the Lexus V8 at 91k will be fine for years to come.

    A great trip, a new idea and one we can do again in the future, through London in the middle of the night is always interesting, nice quiet roads once out of London, even a little bit of drama when I thought I had a mechanical problem with the car................I know, what a ridiculous notion...........everything was fine, and a spectacular sunrise to finish off, we made it with 9 minutes to spare. Good fun.

    What about me, my Gsf weighs about 40kg MORE than an non Carbon Rcf, how do you think I feel trying to hustle a lump of pig iron down a damp Welsh B road, its just so difficult.............................

    Absolutely, on outright power the Gsf is way behind, but if you cant put the power to good use its just a number, I think on a track I would lap quicker in an M5 / E63 / RS6 but on a damp b road in Wales I think things would be different.

    I really like these, always have done, I wouldn't change a thing on the car, they are loud and shouty, they need red mudflaps, one thing though, get V8 Lexus next, you wont regret it................

    Where are you going to find significant gains on an ECU remap with an atmospheric engine, if its a turbo motor I get it, if not, without serious work and money, forget it................

    OK I see where you are coming from, I think the Rcf/Gsf will be just as difficult to extract significant power increases from, as for a remap I just don't see how anyone can extract much of an increase from a NA engine, Quantum are claiming 15%-35%, how? that's between71bhp and 166bhp I just don't believe its possible.

    Good to hear from you again, my neighbour has an E46 M3, not unreliable as such but there always seems to be niggling faults he needs to deal with, not big enough to take it off the road but forever paying out for one thing after another he has mentioned the Rcf as an alternative.

    I have one, my current GSf was a press car and owned by a certain motoring journalist for 7 months, its under warranty and probably always will be during its time with me, as anyone that knows me will probably agree that my cars don't have an easy life when they are out, although they are well maintained, this is my 5th Lexus and I have never had one single issue with any of them.

    So where is the car, I know the sellers location is Sheffield, but why would you use Lithuanian post unless you were actually there? Is it not like someone in the city of Kaunas using Royal Mail?
