1. Someone here within this past couple of weeks mentioned Denso plugs but he'd seen some on ebay at a very very low price, he did not buy from ebay as it has a reputation for fake goods, it does not answer your question but might be worth bearing in mind, as far as ebay is concerned.
2. Your right, if Soho west end snake charmers were destined as business literates they would have Sheaffer pens not penny whistles! https://bit.ly/2s7XOLM
3. Personally, I will not do bank transfers with private individuals either on the net or even if I have met them a couple of times, again personally, I think it's reckless for someone to give me their bank acc't details to pay them it would make me a suspect if anything happens to their account. As regards established traders, I would so long as they were established, >but<, with a debit card no need to worry for reasons already pointed out, no need for traders to inhibit their potential sales either, use Paypal! Apart from anything else, if people trade across the net any buyer should/would/does expect them to have the correct facilities in place so the buyer can spend & buy with peace of mind, the facilities are there for it.
4. Yes, I actually meant a visa 'debit card', just go to your bank and ask them to do an indemnity refund on the card, it'll be back on your card within seconds, you can also go back many years if there's anything else from way back when!
5. If your using a visa card just do an indemnity on it & money goes straight back into your account
6. Theres only one car on todays ebay I recognize was (or looks very much like) a car used to advertise from another period in time, this one, which is £1:00 below £5k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1996-P-LEXUS-LS-400-4-0-4DR/273200498233?hash=item3f9c04c639:g:a28AAOSwns1a2N9X
7. 'Current prices' of LS 400's seem to be dropping from last years, which seemed to be averageing the 5k + region from dealers, although Ive only checked ebay a couple of times over this past week prices on ebay at least do seem to be coming down again, below a whole page mainly below the 5k mark. https://bit.ly/2wRPwfR
8. I've never had the front one working not just in my LS400"s but some cars of other makes of cars as well, ( had 4 LS 400's), all the back seat ones have worked, I am a smoker
9. Well, heres an LS 400, advertised as having 54k on it, 6,000 quid if your interested!?, chertsey. https://bit.ly/2IL3hle
10. Really, really sorry to see that, so much effort to get it right & then that, hope you get a good replacement once you feel settled
11. Is it the same seller who was selling it some/many months ago?
12. I've seen it on here before (I assume same car!), I think on the whole it's a good looking car but disfigured with what looks like murky plastic over headlights & I prefer the LS 400's rear end, as for the price........1992🤡........he gotabe kidding
13. Quote -I have heard of P B Blaster overnight for 3 days would do it? I checked on google & there are quite a few 'severe' warnings about it, the link below is to a P1 Google search result. https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=opera&q=p+b+blaster+warnings&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 .
14. Seems many of the mechanicly minded & knowldgable members on here have had problems changing plugs, I'd be interested to know what a local Lexus dealer would charge
15. Personally, I would not buy anything like that from >anyone< on ebay, I might if it were a known main dealer Why not find out the price from a denso approved main dealer, the price you've quoted seems VERY cheap. Denso distributer lists https://www.denso-am.co.uk/where-to-buy/
16. I've seen repairs on that prob on here within this past 12 months, a couple of places but I seem to remember one near morcombe or that way on, use the search facility with a couple of variations & see what comes up
17. The way the roads 'have got' in Brent they'll be going to shop in half tracks soon.
18. What your posts do illustrate (literally) is the importance of finding & using a respected installation company. That said, a lot of care & a tad more than a quick one off google search for names of instillation technicians, maybe good research is really the key to success & a willingness to travel distances with a view to the long term benefits.
19. Another thing about LPG, which needs to be kept in mind if relevant, is that you are not allowed to take them through channel tunnel.
20. The early to mid 1950's A40's were more of a comfortable 'family saloon' car, never went in one but I remember them when I see pics of them.
21. The austin A40's seem to average 3.5k these days, some a lot more, awful things but OKish in their day https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/list/3/a40/
