  1. ...and matching platform shoes, flares and huge shirt collars--as many will remember.
  2. Put a tan vinyl roof on it and hey presto we're back to'80 s Cortinas and Granada's.
  3. Because that's what works, but if you know better...
  4. I had a similar problem dabout a year ago.As far as I remember,I had inadvertently touched the blue "privacy" button on the right hand edge of the screen about just over an inch up from the bottom RH corner.I can't remember offhand how I got back again.--try touching or touch and hold that part of the screen,or menu..3 vertical dots in grey top band of the scree.
  5. Forget window guards.YOU SHOULD NOT LEAVE A DOG IN THE CAR. It is idiotic and cruel. You shouldn't be allowed to keep an animal. If you can't look after your pet,get someone who cares , to do it. You are a disgrace.
  6. The interior is beautiful.Exterior mmmm..metallic brown.not so sure .it always reminds me of vinyl roofs and Cortinas/Granada's.
  7. https://www.tomhartleyjnr.com/car/stock/2012/lexus/lfa/106621/ 2012 Lexus LFA no.458 of 500. £650,000. I wonder how much my RC would px for?....
  8. Moral of the story is they need to change their advertising strapline from"you can't get quicker than a Kwik Fit Fitter" to "you won't get screwed quicker than by Kwik Fit Fitter"
  9. Linas,I'm glad you got it sorted out--they clearly didn't have a leg to stand on. Absolutely appalling service, yes you won't have to pay for it,but this sort of thing just shouldn't happen and customers shouldn't have to go through the aggravation to clear up after these incompetents. I think it was Herbie who said he wouldn't let them fit a tea bag to a mug of hot water...
  10. I think this thread has more than run its course and should now be closed.
  11. I think Waze already has it.
  12. They were designed to be used to secure small lightweight items, such as maps etc.,from blowing around or being sucked out of an open topped car. Nowadays it could be used for a phone or a packet of Rothmans.
  13. ...and increased sales of replacement telephone handsets for the phones slammed down in frustration.
  14. A few months ago I phoned a few local dealers for service costs. One (Reading) didn't answer their phone within a reasonable time.It happened to be my nearest but if a company doesn't answer - they don't get my business. I eventually went with the third dealer (Hedge End) who were excellent.Incidentally the service costs were identical, but Hedge End were happy to offer the LOC discount and in any case their attitude on that initial call was head and shoulders above those who could be bothered to answer the phone. It's no wonder businesses are failing if they can't do something as simple as picking up a phone .......
  15. [2022 Upgraded] VANMASS Universal... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B097JLC7MK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Take a look at this--I know that you weren't keen on vent holders, but this one is secure.Mine has been fine for over a year.
  16. First of all...not another SUV. However,in the photos(both in and out),it looks quite pleasant to me.. nothing too out of the ordinary, but not too weird either. It looks quite nice,if you want that sort of thing.
  17. I seem to remember reading a while ago the Museum offer reduced entry costs for groups. The restaurant there is good and spotlessly clean. If you do go,make sure to also look around the Reserve Collection,in the building to the right..almost as good,if not better than the main collection.
  18. The cynic in me thinks perhaps the dealership may not get their commission if the loan is redeemed early.
  19. Hydrogen cars don't have to look like a Toyota Mirai...the latest from Alpine(being a Renault you'd better go for extended warranty).
  20. Of course the alternative was(and probably still is), to repeat in English, slowly and at much increased volume, when addressing "Johnny foreigner"
