    I have also yesterday had major service and MOT done at Hedge End.Again,an(almost) clean sheet,apart f from rear wheel alignment..the inner edges of the 2 rear tyres on my RC were completely shredded and bald.Without lying flat on the ground,you can't easily see the inner edge....otherwise It'd have picked it up sooner.Otherwise the 2 rear tyres had a good 6mm tread. The service from Hedge End was again First Class.

    It's a well known fact that BMW 3 series cars(especially from the 1980's) had a propensity to throw themselves into the nearest ditch,or tree.Hence "tree series".

    Or...get a front facing camera fitted.Cargoplay on Amazon sell a wireless one which you can fix to the front number plate holder.It has an optional small solar panel to top up its charge.The monitor (about the size of a tom tom satnav) does need a 12v supply from cig. lighter socket.I usually leave it in the armrest and prop it temporarily on the centre console when in use.

    Shame the 500 doesn't have an opening sunroof.You could get a hoist installed over the driver's seat to winch you in and out without using the doors.(or buy the convertible.

    A seat pocket only on the passenger seat is quite common on other makes as well.

    There must be literally thousands of posts here about the small 12v battery running flat. A quick read through the site will explain. Many members (myself included) have made the same mistake.

    If you are still on the original 12v battery,I would think that is likely to be the cause of your problems.

    Do a search on you tube.There are numerous videos showing how to do it and how to avoid blocking the airbag.

    They were the most expensive at £850. I can remember boasting how low last years premium was(£200)on here 12 months ago.That will teach me.....

    You might be better of using GummiPflege as the spirit/alcohol in screen wash might cause the rubber seals to perish prematurely.

    My fully comp,9yr NCD has just gone from approx£200 to £620 with no change in car RC300h.After haggling with broker and checking comparison sites and NFU direct,I 've managed to get £520 staying with LV.

    I can highly recommend Jemca Bracknell.They are part of the group that owns Lexus Reading.and are located behind Jemca Toyota Bracknell. They carried out the repair on my Sonic Red RC a year or so ago.The paint match was perfect they also have hybrid expertise on site to ensure the hybrid system hasn't been affected.

    The clue might be in "after your first trip" I seem to remember the first trip needs to be at least a certain length.Read the manual.

    Some similarities to you.I was all set to move to Vodafone ,from BT,for my broadband and considering dumping my landline and use my all calls included mobile contract. Spoke a few times to BT and ended up getting a noticeable discount off my broadband and retaining my long standing land line number (Only now for a few incoming calls.).£2.00 month. Win win on broadband and landline.It pays to haggle... Now,let battle commence on car insurance....£200 up to,£600.…I don't think so.

    It is essential.If you have it,it's buried in one of the setup menus on the main infotainment screen.You should also check if your phone has,or can support AA.

    Ronnie..I bought it directly from Android Auto Wireless.It seems they now sell through Amazon...search for AAWireless dongle.currently £59.99. Your stereo will need to have Android Auto/carplay available as a wired connection.I'm not familiar with the NX,but my 2020RC MM19 works. The dongle is controlled by an app but once set up you won't need it apart from the occasional update. David
